Wonderful
Great hotel experience from beginning to end, from the welcome and service, excellent bar and range of restaurant options locally away from the tourist hotspots. Good comfortable room fine for three adults to share.
Nothing, other than we couldn’t find the TV remote, but didn’t need it so not a big problem and didn’t report it till we left.

Breakfast - perfect. Front staff - the lady that signed us in, was amazing. She couldn't have done more, the management should value her. Nice gift in room.
We had dinner, the meat cut was inedible, too stringy and tough. Salad good! The first room that we were in, door to the shower ill fitted, backwards. Could not get in without squeezing in. The room was cold. We are 70years old, given the farthest room 519 from lift is not a good decision. Phone charger was not working, had to ask to use charger at reception. Towel rack above toilet, it nearly fell in toilet. We were given a new room, however, room 519 should not have been allocated, I am sure the cleaning staff would have noted the problem. The good staff salvaged the situation. Better lighting?

The location was too good. Between two stations Strassbourg Saint denis and Bonne Nouvelle, this is the best place to be in Paris near the bustling grands boulevard. The classical spiral staircase and the old styled lifts were a work of art.
cost and general cleanliness could have been better. the hotel had lifts and the floors were little cramped. The room was ok in size. Bed was good but could have been cleaner
