Relatively quite location. Excellent staff. Nice breakfast.
Booked a "King Room" but the bed was a Queen. Squeaky bed and floors. Only partial blackout curtain for the bathroom window so street lights lit up the room.

Central location; the quirky traditional feel of the hotel. Very friendly staff. Comfy beds and pillows. Great lift!
Bathroom and rooms a little dates. The blind outside the window was broken so the wind was knocking this against the window all night. Odd sound of a generator? all night. Got used to it, but sounded a bit like the hum of a train passing the hotel every 20 seconds.

Old building with history, all the good (and bad) that goes with it.
The elevator was small, as expected. But as we were leaving around checkout time, the elevator was tied up with the cleaning staff going up and down.

We felt like we were in a Wes Anderson film, the lift and our bathroom were stunning! Elizabeth is such a ray of sunshine at the reception, we look forward to seeing her during our next stay!

It is close to Lafayette Galleries
The bathroom and restroom are not clean . They are so old and yellow. The owner should remodel them . It is very important for me and other travelers!!!! I wonder how its rating in booking is high. I don’t trust booking rating anymore!!!!

The breakfast was okay, the space is very small and you might have to wait, but it has all the basics.The location is good though.
Four of us booked a suite. The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable, so I’d recommend getting two separate rooms instead. The hotel is very old, and the soundproofing is terrible—you can hear every footstep from upstairs, especially late at night, making it hard to sleep.
Additionally, the hotel’s cancellation policy is extremely strict: no cancellations are allowed, no matter the reason. The younger staff were polite, but the older ones were quite cold. Won’t be coming back.
