Wonderful
Location near Montmartre and Moulin Rouge, so in the centre of the night life. Very good facilities: rooms are small, but well equipped, very clean. The breakfast is excellent, with some gluten free options and very tasty fresh fruit and vegetables. Free snacks at the reception available in the afternoon and evening as well as free drinks in the fridge in the room were a nice surprise. Very friendly staff! Comfortable beds.
We had room with windows onto Le Blanche street, which was unfortunately very noisy. This was for us the only minus point of the Joke hotel.

Location was perfect for our stay
The stairs might be difficult if you have reduced mobility, but luckily they have an elevator/lift.

Amazing quality. Great location in the 9th. The room was excellent. The staff at the front desk were amazing. (With the exception of one).
There was a racist Asian woman staff at the front desk. Her conduct was an absolute disgrace. But it should take nothing away from the absolutely splendid hotel where everything is top tier.

Fantastic stay in Paris. The hotel was clean, comfortable, very well located, and the staff was consistently friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, and the complimentary minibar and snacks were a great touch. It completely lived up to the strong reviews.

Staff was very nice and even though it's an old building it felt clean...
The tub is not wide and it's tall so be careful getting in and out...

A very cozy little hotel in an extremely good location, with both the metro and a bus stop just a few dozen meters away. The staff is friendly, and the breakfast is rich and varied. The cleanliness is perfect. The free snacks available throughout the day are also a lovely gesture.
What was a bit annoying is that even though it is not located on a major avenue, the street our windows faced was terribly noisy at night. This made it hard to sleep peacefully with the window open, but obviously, this is not the hotel's fault.
