Very small rooms, as usual in Paris, but very clean. Quite basic breakfast, but only 8 and well prepared (the typical French carb breakfast). Location is marvelous, close to anything, very close to two metro stations.
In the evening, three wine-beer bars open in the street, one, just next to the hotel. No problem at all if you have a room at the back, as we did. If you have a room the front you need to expect some noise till late. No elevator from ground floor to level 1. From there, an elevator is available. No problem for us, but less mobile people may want to know this.

The location is close enough to the Louvre and also Notredame. The check in was simple, the room is cleaned every day decently.
I can only find 1 electricity plugin the room, which was setup for the fan.

Nothing.
Located in a narrow alley overlooking 3 pubs, with people shouting and laughing till 5am each day. No A/C, narrow spiral stairs, saggy bed, tiny room, furniture falling apart, power outlets not working. Shower is 1.5 foot square, unreliable hot water!
