Location, a great place to sleep, friendly staff, firm bed, clean bathroom. 10" walk from train station. Room size is big enought for 2 with 4 luggages. Price is right. Safe and quite at night. Modern looking. Merci.

The staff was helpful.
The room was incredibly small and the bathroom so small that the shower was barely usable. Taking a shower involved flooding teh whole bathroom and doing acrobatics to fit in there.

Great Stay – Felt Like Coming Back Home
This was my second time staying at Hotel de France, and once again, it didn’t disappoint. The location is excellent – just a short walk from Gare de Lyon, which makes getting around Paris super convenient. The staff were very kind and supportive, always ready to help with anything I needed. I also appreciated the neighborhood – it’s lively but not overwhelming, with a familiar feel that made my return visit all the more comfortable. A reliable and welcoming place to stay!

The location is wonderful, the neighborhood is attractive and appealing and the metro was easy to get to. The bed was comfortable and most of the staff were friendly. I also appreciated that there was a safe in our room.
My room was tiny, so small that I couldn’t even lie down on the carpet to stretch. The carpet had a large stain on it, so it didn’t look like a place I would want to lie down anyway. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, with at least one exception who gave the impression that I was bothering that person.
The breakfast, which we ate only once, was mediocre.
While in Paris, I fell and asked the person at the front desk for some ice cream) provided a double baggie. I was shocked that they couldn’t provide me with ice.
