The location was in the heart of the St Germain district. The staff were very attentive and helpful. My room was sufficiently large and comfortable.

Reception was incredibly friendly and helpful and the main reception area is very welcoming with a 'fire'place and bookcases. There are always little treats and fresh water on the table in front of the fire from which to help yourself. They mentioned that if you didn't want to have a full breakfast then they were happy to charge only for a coffee and croissant (something other hotels do not offer). The room was a good size for a hotel at this level in central Paris. Location is superb, easy to walk to other areas and well serviced with public transport.
The room was a little airless during the night, but I did not have the window open or a/c turned on so I am sure I could have rectified this if I stayed for longer. The English speaking TV channel was not active.

The ONLY positive was the friendly staff. Also, was able to cancel 4 night stay after suffering through first and only night there.
EXTREMELY overpriced ($840 USD for 1 night!!!) definitely not a 4 star stay. Rooms were small with febreeze smell so strong it gave me a migraine that Motrin could not relieve. My eyes burned from the odors. Was originally booked for 4 nights, stayed 1 reluctantly because it was too late at night. Left 1st thing in the morning. During the 1 night, the elevator broke down, holes in comforter that I was told were normal, was charged extra for balcony which was interior and smelled of cleaning supplies, staircase had putrid stench, no cocktail lounge - be ready to serve yourself from a small selection of old liquor that are half opened and who knows how old, water with stuff floating in it, no room for clothing or functioning, buyer beware!

Hotel staff was friendly and attentive. Room was beautiful, and the bottle of champagne upon arrival a nice and unexpected surprise. Location was great for exploring shops, restaurants, etc. Very quiet room, never heard distracting sounds at night.
Breakfast was buffet style with a wide selection of options though the scrambled eggs were soupy. But in all a good breakfast.
