The location was convenient (steps away from a metro with several lines) and close to walkable neighborhoods with tons of shops and cafés. Breakfast was really nice - made to order omelets, lots of fresh fruit, several different stations, plenty of tables.
Our room was quite dark, drab and overall charmless. The light bulbs were extremely dim, the decor blah, the bathroom tired, the TV had nothing but local stations. We slept fine and didn't spend much time in the room, but it just didn't feel special.

Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Property well maintained. Breakfast choices excellent. Overall excellent room size. King size bed. Hotel room cleaned daily by hotel staff. Excellent view from my hotel room. Excellent location.
Racial experience with a female staff during breakfast, nothing to be alarm about or to deter you from staying at this hotel. No electrical outlet located in bathroom close to a mirror to shave or to use an electric hair dryer. Bed mattress was firm but they were willing to accomodate.

Love that the Gare de L’Est station is right across the street, making travel very easy. The staff were so kind. Loved the views from the property - made us truly feel like we were in Paris. The breakfast buffet was amazing - I would have gone back for dinner if they provided the option. The location had lots of restaurants and stores to walk to as well.
Since the square is a popular hub, the noise from protests and night time activity made it a bit difficult to sleep.

The location in the Marais of Paris was quite excellent. Room faced onto the Rue de republic Square with every night there were protest until 9 PM.
What is like the room not facing the square but none were available
Would stay there again if we had a different room also the rooms are a little bit rundown some things need fixing.

The concierge helped me with the birthday cake for my sister’s birthday celebration. I emailed them before the trip and asked them about it and they agreed. I think that’s pretty special. Location’s not bad since the metro stop is literally right in front of the hotel.
The room was a bit tight though I just shrugged it off. However, my other family members on different rooms got slippers and bathrobes and we unfortunately didn’t. That’s an inconsistent service.

Location o fthe hotel is OK, near metro station, and also walking distance to many touristic places.
Below average breakfast, which was very surprising considering the othe rhotels of the Crowne hotels. Rooms and furtnitur eis quite old, smelly. Noise from the corridor, other rooms and the street is directly in the room.

Clean, close to metro
The hotel building was nice, but the rooms were not thoughtfully designed. Even the worst Airbnb pays attention to details like providing a coffee machine, whereas in the room there was only a kettle with instant coffee, and the minibar/fridge was empty — there wasn’t even water. These may seem like small details, but they make the place feel careless and in need of improvement.
