This 19th-century building with its striking façade is the home of the Crowne Plaza Paris République, a 4-star hotel located at Place de la République. Fully refurbished in 2019, it offers a large area on ground floor with a flexible workspace. Guestrooms are spacious and contemporary in style. All rooms and suites are equipped with modern bathrooms and include a flat-screen TV. The Crowne Plaza Paris République also features a restaurant and a bar. Very Good
The location to walk the town is excellent and being at the square gives plenty nice places to eat and drink within short distance. The bed was firm and good, especially to relax after long walks this was a welcome feeling
The room was slightly tired and could do with a refurbishment. It was advertised in booking.com to have its own private parking, but in fact it doesn’t have this at all. It relies on an indoor underground parking around the corner which is not part of the hotel.

Hotel is a great location at Republique Sq. with good Metro connections but not in the middle of the high tourist areas. That square however is popular for protests and an active late night crowd so rooms that face the courtyard area are much quieter. Breakfast is excellent with many choices and an omlette/egg to order guy. The room was small like most hotels in Paris and had limited storage places within the room but quite functional. I thought the price was a little high for the room size but Paris is expensive in general for tourists.
We had a room near the elevators on the 2nd floor and there was some kind of active furniture moving above or below us that went on at all times of day and night. We asked the front desk about it and they had no answers....it sounded like heavy tables being dragged around on a hard surface floor.

Loved the location..Breakfast was included in our stay. Breakfast selections were excellent and with the staff. Concierge personnel very accommodating .Reception staff very pleasant. Overall it was a great experience. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely hotel, staff were very helpful and polite. Location is great, my room was a very good size with two double beds for a family of four. The room was a little cold, however housekeeping brought me a portable radiator which gave off a lot of heat. This is the third time I've stayed at this hotel, highly recommend it.

Our family recently paid €3,571.25 for a stay and expected a corresponding level of quality. Regrettably, the hotel failed to meet even basic standards, especially given the price point. Inadequate Provision for Dietary Needs The hotel's approach to gluten and lactose intolerance is poor and signals a disconnect from current hospitality standards: Lactose-Free: The provision was unacceptable. The only non-dairy offering for coffee was soya milk. Standard offerings like lactose-free dairy milk and oat milk which is a better choice for coffee. Lactose-free butter, yogurt, and cheese were completely missing. Gluten-Free (GF): The selection was poor quality, consisting of pre-packaged bread that required a 10-minute wait and heating in an un-openable plastic bag. Furthermore, the two small GF cakes offered were baked with butter — a critical oversight, as many gluten-intolerant guests also avoid lactose. The hotel did not have any gluten-free cereal which is standard. Room Comfort and Facilities The quality of the accommodations seriously detracted from the experience: Beds: All beds were low-quality sofa beds. This resulted in noticeably poor sleep and lack of comfort throughout the stay. Room State: The room was let down by two small windows, and the air conditioning unit and TV set appeared very old. The TV remote control was non-functional, rendering the television unusable. Bathroom: Simple features such as hooks or hangers for hand towels. Ancillary Services Fitness Room: The tiny fitness room contained only four machines, some of which were partially broken. The water dispenser lacked cups, and the gym's television was also non-functional. Overall, this hotel delivers (below) budget-level quality for a high price tag. I would strongly advise management to invest in both infrastructure and service training.

Pleasant
- Location is convenient for metro access (right near the hotel entrance and multiple lines) - Clean - Helpful staff - Room service dishes are only a few but good - Bed was clean and comfy though on a hard side and you can’t really sink in it (so pay attention).
- Location is a spot for demonstrations and protests, during our 7 days stay, there were two large pro Hamas protests and another one for Madagascar or something. - A few homeless people “live” beside hotel building wall. - The side facing the square is pretty noisy even when the windows is shut (bring earplugs). - Though room was clean, some of the cleaning staff were not that professional. On one occasion they forgot to refill toilet and tissue paper and take the dirty dishes out. On another, they left our room door open (something we discovered only upon arriving back at evening). - Some basic things you expect at the hotel, like vanity kit, robes and slippers were not provided in the room. - Breakfast is good and worth adding, but again, some things that are expected were missing: soy/oatmilk/almond milk were missing most of the time. No espresso cups (drinking espresso from a mug is just weird). Placing toothpicks at the exit only is another odd decision. - Way too overpriced for what you get

Hotel with facelift, great breakfast, but rooms are soft-lifted from the 80s or 90s. For this price I expect much more.
Quality of rooms and their impossible condition to clean properly.
