Pleasant
The staff is very friendly and breakfast is excellent. Great comfort to be able to enjoy free lemon/mint drinks in the lobby upon returning from a hot day of sightseeing. Location is convenient. Bed is very comfortable.
The decoration looks stylish but the quality and consideration can be improved. The grout between the basin and the wall has holes in it. There is no fan in the toilet room. Overall room size is bit too small.

We have been many times and like the breakfast, the size of the rooms, and the location which is a short metro ride away from the centre.
We booked and paid for a larger room in advance. The larger room was at the back and near a loud airco outlet. So we were offered to switch to a superior room that was cheaper. We were then asked whether we wanted anything in ‘return’. Breakfast? No, impossible. Then it turned out the original room we booked was supposed to be deluxe yet on their own website it is labelled as superior.. so we definitely paid too much and rooms on booking.com and the hotel website were not the same. A small welcome card said ‘we offer you this small token of our appreciation’…? Never received a thing. We have been to Le Coq about 10 times over the last 10 years. But, we are doubting whether we will return now. The ‘renovation’ is also clearly a step back, and we missed the original design.

It was a really beautiful property. The balcony was so beautiful. Loved the hotel!!! Najda was so amazing and accommodated us with very ease.

Everything is very good quality. Rooms are very clean. Good location and closer to metro station. Breakfast was very nice and delicious. Breakfast area is nicely decorated and fulfilling your expectations very much. Warm welcome by the staff and always helpful.
Everything was very nice but a small fridge would be great especially in very high temperature days. We wanted to keep our water chilled but wasn’t possible. However, it’s a very minor problem.

The room was clean, with amenities such as a coffee machine, air conditioning, and a bathroom with a powerful shower, and everything you need to feel at home. The breakfast was very nice, and the lady in the kitchen was attentive, offering several options from eggs, fruit, pastries, different hams, breads, cheese, ham juices, cereals etc
The coffee at breakfast, although it was good (taste and quality), the quantity (size) was on the small side; however, this could be easily corrected by making an extra coffee on top of it.

Not the cleanest. Bath wasn’t practical, and the shower curtain surrounding it was well past its best. Lots of marks etc.
Bathroom hook wasn’t secure, neither was the toilet seat.

Nice and comfy room. Near Place d'Italie which has lots of cafes and bistros. Staff was very friendly. Room was not huge but big enough for Paris standards. Nothing else to add.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The staff were fantastic. They were professional, helpful and polite. Excellent breakfast selection. The location was great and just a short walk from Place d'Italie and the metro station. The room was lovely with a comfortable bed and super bathroom.
We are looking forward to our next stay.

Wonderful
It is not too far from the city centre and have a lot of buses and metros going everywhere. The staff are extremely helpful, they never said no to any of our requests. Thanks to Louis and Clara! Rooms are very clean and have air conditioning. We had a nice welcome to our room too!
The rooms are a bit smaller. I paid nearly £200 a night and the room barely even had walking space. That is the only drawback I would say.
