It was close to restaurants and to the subway.
The hostel was not very well organized during my stay, possibly due to ongoing renovations. There were boxes and other items in the hallway near the elevator, and the storage space under the bed was not clean. The shower was also leaking from the side. These were the main issues I experienced.

A few hours before check-in, despite having a confirmed and fully paid reservation, the hostel contacted me and claimed they could not accommodate me. They initially asked me to cancel the booking myself, even though the reservation was non-refundable and I would have lost around €70. As a solo traveller in Paris, this created significant stress and uncertainty as I suddenly faced the possibility of having nowhere to stay for the night. What made the situation even more concerning was that the property still appeared to be selling rooms online for the same dates at a higher price. After numerous messages, they eventually informed me that a room was available after all. This level of reservation management is highly unprofessional and should never happen to guests with confirmed bookings. In addition, the property was undergoing construction work. There was dust and debris throughout the reception area and hallways, which caused problems due to my dust allergy. Early on Sunday morning, loud construction noise and workers moving metal materials woke guests and disrupted sleep. The location is convenient, but the way this booking was handled and the ongoing construction significantly affected my stay. I would not expect this level of service from a professional accommodation provider.

Disappointing
The beds in the dorms have their own individual curtains which is nice for privacy.
It was still a building site when I arrived. I was told I could use the lift but to be aware of the hanging wires. The public areas were all covered in dust from said building works. The kitchen area wasn't really useable at all either. The shower head in my room was also broken so I had to hold the shower head into the hose. I think they needed to stay shut for a bit longer to finish their renovations - the pictures are incredibly misleading!
