Location was fantastic - we don't mind walking, so it was very walkable to a lot of sites. And, without wanting to walk, easy access to bus and metro stops.
Beds were not as comfortable as I would have liked but slept fine, and the rooms were bigger than I thought they'd be, so felt that the value was great for the size and location in Paris.

- Aunts in our room (3rd floor) that ate our macaroons, 20 quid down the toilet... - Rooms had 1 socket only, bit difficult for 2 people that need to charge phones, etc. - 1 of 2 card keys didnt work - Shampoo/Shower gel in bathroom was empty (which also was tiny)

The location is amazing, and the I love the wood rooms, makes it feel so cozy! Staff is accommodating and hotel breakfast is good and convenient. Really good instance hot chocolate, too :)
There is very large obnoxious print of the Eiffel Tower hanging in room next to the mattress and it strips it of the charm of the hotel. I think if it was for example a solid red square, would be much better and contribute to the vibe of the hotel + city. The shower drain is not great either but probably from old plumbing so it's okay! Also, as an American, and it being a Best Western I do have an expectation for room water bottle to be replaced every morning during maintenance but also it's not a big deal.

Elevator was not working the entire stay, we stayed on the 5th floor. Little help with regards to luggage. Many hairs in the bathroom upon arrival. Staff not pleasant.

Disappointing
I want to highlight that the staff were absolutely incredible. They were kind, attentive, and went out of their way to help - assisting me with my suitcases up the stairs, arranging a taxi, and ensuring I was placed on the second floor given the lift was out of order. Their professionalism and friendliness made a real difference in an otherwise disappointing stay. Location is also great and convenient.
I recently stayed in room 223 and, unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. • There was a noticeable vibration in the room, possibly from nearby trains, which made it difficult to relax. • The room was very dark, with a small window and limited natural light. • The lift was broken during my stay, which was inconvenient. • The shower flooded each time I used it. • The walls were thin, and I could clearly hear full conversations from the room next door. • There appeared to be no visible fire alarm in the room, which raised safety concerns. • Most disruptive of all, there was a heavy corridor door right in front of my room. It slammed loudly throughout the night. On several occasions, I woke up startled, thinking someone was trying to enter my room, when it was actually the corridor door closing. Overall, the stay felt quite uncomfortable due to the combination of noise, safety concerns, and lack of comfort. I hope the management will look into these issues, particularly the loud corridor doors near room 223, as they significantly impact guests’ sleep and sense of security.
