Disappointing
I want to highlight that the staff were absolutely incredible. They were kind, attentive, and went out of their way to help - assisting me with my suitcases up the stairs, arranging a taxi, and ensuring I was placed on the second floor given the lift was out of order. Their professionalism and friendliness made a real difference in an otherwise disappointing stay.
Location is also great and convenient.
I recently stayed in room 223 and, unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing.
• There was a noticeable vibration in the room, possibly from nearby trains, which made it difficult to relax.
• The room was very dark, with a small window and limited natural light.
• The lift was broken during my stay, which was inconvenient.
• The shower flooded each time I used it.
• The walls were thin, and I could clearly hear full conversations from the room next door.
• There appeared to be no visible fire alarm in the room, which raised safety concerns.
• Most disruptive of all, there was a heavy corridor door right in front of my room. It slammed loudly throughout the night. On several occasions, I woke up startled, thinking someone was trying to enter my room, when it was actually the corridor door closing.
Overall, the stay felt quite uncomfortable due to the combination of noise, safety concerns, and lack of comfort. I hope the management will look into these issues, particularly the loud corridor doors near room 223, as they significantly impact guests’ sleep and sense of security.

Wonderful
Perfect location. Lots of shops and restaurants just steps away from the hotel. Metro just 1 minutes walk away. 30 minute walk to Louvre.
Dated hotel but spotless.
We were at the back of the hotel in room 224. There were a couple of sets of doors to go through which could be noisy at night.
Lift was out of action for a period each day.

Good location, clean room.
Unfortunately, my stay was quite disappointing. The lift was out of order for the entire duration, and the fridge in the room didn’t work. The breakfast was very basic — just scrambled eggs, a few cheeses, and poor-quality coffee. The room itself felt rather shabby and was extremely noisy at night, making it difficult to sleep.

Wonderful
The hotel is located in a very good area, there are many terraces and shops around.
Very small, clean room. The bathroom is big enough for a hotel.
The best thing was the breakfast, which offers everything you could want to recharge your batteries for a day in Paris.
Unfortunately, there are also minuses. I got a room next to the door at the entrance to the landing, a door that has a slamming system. The noise was infernal, impossible to rest.
I reported it to the reception and they helped me immediately, blocking the door in the open position. In the morning I noticed that the same thing had been done on another landing. Ok, that means the problem was known, so measures could have been taken in advance. The broken elevator was a big minus, especially upon arrival, when you have to go up with heavy luggage.

Location is great.
The price is fair.
The room on the 4th floor is small but lots of wardrobe.
The room on the 5th floor is spacious.
The bed is comfy.
The shower room is clean and bright.
There's no refrigerator in the room.
No lift to the 5th floor.
