Excellent location, 30 minute walk to US embassy which was convenient to us. Plenty of shops and restaurants in the area too. Front desk very helpful. Breakfast food and drink choices ample!

This hotel is located a 15 mins walk away from the bustling Galeries Lafayette and Palais Garnier. It is also nestled within the iconic Passage Jouffroy (and just opposite the equally impressive Passage des Panoramas). The Grands Boulevards and Richelieu-Drouot Metro Stations are a short 5 min walk away and provided good connectivity to key landmarks in Paris. Despite being so central, it was still not too busy as to render commutes chaotic - so you will be close to the action but not suffering in the eye of the tornado. The room itself was very spacious with generous closet space for those inclined to hang their clothes (I am talking 2 doors of hanging space and one door of shelves for folded clothes). There was also a safe and a luggage shelf. The toilets also included a bathtub and were significantly larger than your typical Parisian hotel which is always appreciated. Absolutely no fault with the cleanliness of the rooms as well. The rooms were thoroughly cleaned daily and we had no complaints on this front at all. Beds were also comfortable and sufficiently pillows were provided. Most impressive of this hotel is the lounge with opens in the morning until about 2am that is stocked with alcohol, biscuits, cakes, tarts and fruit for you to take free-flow as an when you wish throughout your stay. This for me was the most thoughtful inclusion and something that is not common in hotels of this era. The hotel did not skimp out on these snacks and drinks and it was common to see guests pack up snacks to bring to their room. The hotel staff were also extremely helpful and went above and beyond to offer guests buckets of ice to bring back to their rooms despite there not being a proper room service system in place. Given the modest price I paid compared to other hotels in the similar area I will say that I am thoroughly impressed with Hotel Ronceray Opera and would very much consider coming back the next time I visit Paris.

Location and clean. Close to subways. Especially the complementary food and drink in the lounge from 2pm-2am. Restaurants, Supermarket nearby.

We had such an amazing stay here and I’d honestly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Paris! The staff were incredibly kind, lovely and helpful throughout our stay, and the rooms were really clean and comfortable. We also loved having access to the lounge for snacks, which was such a nice extra. The location is brilliant and makes it so easy to get around and see all the main sights in Paris. There’s a Metro station for lines 8 and 9 literally right in front of the hotel, which was so convenient. It’s also walkable from Gare du Nord, making it a great option if you’re travelling to Paris by Eurostar. We had such a lovely experience and would definitely stay here again!

rooms were very small but location was great. Breakfast which we paid for was not the best. The staff at reception were good but the staff that were in charge of breakfast were not very friendly - overall experience at the hotel was not the best.

Excellent location within walking distance or short metro links to all the main sights.
