I was given someone’s room without them or me knowing and so whilst I was sleeping at night my door opened and a man was stood in the room saying it was his room. The hotel did nothing to make me feel safe or even come and talk to me. I felt really unsafe and not very comfortable being there. I won’t be returning

A nice hotel in the center of Paris. The room was clean and the bed was comfy.
I was sleeping in the morning when suddenly a very load fire alarm went off. Nobody showed up or called to our room to clarify what’s going on, so we quickly packed and run down the stairs to the reception. The people at the reception were very nonchalant, like nothing is going on and said it’s just a test alarm

Location was great, loved the old ambiance, room was good, loved the wood panelling, reception staff were very friendly and accommodating and able to speak English.
Would have preferred a double bed option for the same size room and same price, small milks were not enough, we wanted coffee at night and again in the morning, therefore 4 milks replaced daily would have been better,

Last minute booking the staffs as fantastic and the room and bathroom were large it not the fanciest place but it’s a great clean comfortable stay located close to metro line and nice restraunts I would definitely stay again
There was a weird buzzing sound happening on the 5th floor but it was pretty faint and we didn’t notice it much

The location was great, very close to the public transport and also a lot of walkable options to visit.
Entering the building after 8-9pm is impossible to do it. The location was great but the entrance of the building was locked and need to ring the reception in order to open it and sometimes I 've waited and it didn't make any sense. Maybe card opening system would solve the issue.

Located in a very busy central part of Paris
Downgraded to a room so small I couldn't both open by bag and walk through the room, couldn't turn around in shower without bumping the lever and turning off the shower, sliver of a window, and next to a nightclub with vibrating base. All for around $225 / night. This stay was akin to a jail cell, or ascetic convent room, or maybe a throwback to 19th century Paris tenement building. Full disclosure they offered me 25% discount on my next stay. But why would I want to come back here?
