Loved the literary theme which was throughout the hotel. Very comfortable bed. Excellent bathroom, big shower with good water pressure, high quality fixtures (Villeroy & Boch, Grohe). Appreciated that the room came with a Nespresso machine and tea maker. Staff, especially Loc, were welcoming and very helpful. Beautiful ambiance. Close also to several Metro lines and Gare de lEst so very convenient. I will definitely stay in this hotel again.
Only small couac was the internet which was occasionally spotty in my room on the 4th floor. I informed Loc and he said it might be because the system needed rebooting. Of course, the rooms also tend to be small, but this is Paris! And since they were so well appointed, it was not really an issue.

The hotel was quaint and the staff were amazingly kind and helpful. We could leave our bags until check in time. Very comfy bed and spacious suite. So close to transport. Wonderful skylights.
We came from the Metro to the closest station which was pretty rough neighborhood. Choose Strasborg St Denis to exit metro.
The ceiling was very low.
This booking site charged us to change our booking!

Solid choice with a very good value for money. Standouts for us were the fantastic breakfast buffet, excellent shower and really friendly staff. We would absolutely stay there again. The room was small, but who cares? You're visiting Paris. Which means you've got either sights to visit or work to do, and the Rimbaud offers a perfectly good base for that. Did I mention the breakfast buffet? Because it was seriously great. Bonus points for this hotel if you are a huge Rimbaud fan, but you don't need to be into 19th century French poets to enjoy this place.

Close to the metro station, very kind and helpful staff, several good restaurants nearby, rich breakfast.
The room was small - although not an exception in Paris, I needed some time to get used to it. In the end, it was ok.

Very good value for money, but the rooms were very warm and uncomfortable (air con was not working). Location fine, close to Gare du Nord, so better to explore outside of that area.

Comfortable room. Great location near Gare du Nord and Gare d LEst. Half an hour walk to most tourist sites. Reception manned 24/7.
I didnt like the way access to water was only at Reception.

Location was good. Easy walk to city heart and Metro is near.
Too much renovation underway and no suggestion of compensation or reduced cost. The 18 breakfast wasn't value for money, they should reduce it to compensate for the renovations
