One of the staff, the Pakistani fellow is good and accommodating.
most of the receptionist was rude, every question asked to them seems an annoyance, especially the girl with the pierced nose. And why we have to rent a towel instead of just adding it to the room price? : I indicated on the booking that we are a family, I rented 2 rooms but we as a couple was put into a bunker, we suffered for 5 days, my request to be transferred was denied while I booked our stay more than a month ahead.. The steps into the top bunker is too dangerous esp. with the old fellow like me, a small slipped will be a disaster.

24/7 reception, well located in the 11eme arrondissement.
The room had a shower, but no toilet. Also no toilet on the same floor, which was a bit... interesting...

The location is convenient and easy to reach.
The booking process itself was straightforward, and check-in staff were present on arrival.
The property seems active and busy, which may suit a very young, hostel-oriented audience
The accommodation was presented as a hotel, but it is in fact a youth hostel with very specific conditions that were not clearly highlighted before booking.
The room conditions did not meet expectations (cleanliness, strong smell, no private bathroom, and no heating).
Important restrictions (age limit, room access hours, comfort level) were only fully understood upon arrival

-The room smelled very bad (like somebody had left a week of dirty socks hidden somewhere).
- The receptionist had very unfriendly attitude.
- Even though we had paid for the previous night, we were not able to check into our room until 3:00pm when we arrived (with one day delay due to flight cancellation) at 1:00pm

It was exactly as the picture shows. We didn't need much, since we only wanted a place to sleep, so the room met our expectations. The breakfast was decent. Everything was clean. It was a good experience for how much we wanted to pay.
It was noisy since we got a room with a window to the street and we had to close the window because of that, but then the room would be extremely hot and the ventilator didn't work, so we had to compromise one or the other every night.

Always cleaned. Free breakfast and coffee. Close to bus stop and metro. Plenty of places to eat.
The rule of needing to leave the hostel from 11-3pm is unnecessary and a hassle. It should be optional because i always kept my room clean. And sometimes i want to sleep in or work in my room but I can’t.

I stayed in a private single room for three nights in this hostel. The location is great and the staff is welcoming and kind. The safety of the guests in the hostel is taken very seriously which is nice (but there is a flip side to it, see below). It is a very cheap place to stay so do not expect luxury; you get what you are paying for.
The most annoying thing about this place is that they make all guests leave the building for two or three hours during the day to clean the rooms. If you are tired after your trip or jet lagged or you just want to rest in your room, forget it. You will be asked to leave not only the room but the whole building and come back later. So the price is not really for 24 hours of accommodation but less. Another issue is that you are asked to leave the key to your room whenever you leave the building and then produce evidence (a copy of the invoice) to get the key to your room. This is to make everyone safe which is great but can also be very annoying for the guests, especially if you want to leave for coffee and short errands multiple times during the day and every time you have to queue and look for the documents to show your right to stay.

Apartment - We stayed one night but it was comfortable, private and quiet.
The apartment was on the 5th floor so be prepared to climb stairs

Cold water showers, waiting twenty minutes to check in, rude staff, uncomfortable bed, dirty shared toilet, only bread and butter for breakfast, overcrowded with large group of coughing youths, could go on…
