It's a small but cosy and lovely hotel. Counter staff were very helpful. Breakfast was superb. Cleaning staff were very thorough.
Sink in toilet is small and no ledge to stop water flowing off the counter onto floor. Not a major issue.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful in getting us established in Paris and navigating the transit system (which had been complicated by the Tour de France the weekend we were there). The room was comfortable overall, had several nice amenities (notably a coffee machine), and was well air-conditioned. Although we did not spend much time in the surrounding neighbourhood due to having several other plans, the area itself was quite charming and offered a lot in terms of local restaurants, bars, etc. for those who want to enjoy a less touristic area.
On the other hand, the location, while charming and acceptable due to being close to a metro station, proved to not be as convenient as we would have liked. Getting to most major sightseeing spots often required a 20-30+ minute bus or metro ride (often with a connection), assuming buses came on time (or at all), and the transfer to/from the airports is not easy if you have a lot of luggage. The room was a little bit small (but still comfortable enough), and the floor was not properly cleaned the day we arrived. But it's still a solid budget stay for Paris if you're willing to sacrifice some convenience.
