Good
Standard room is slightly bigger and the price is lower than in other more prominent places in Paris. Location is only interesting for concert not really for sightseeing. Metro station Hoche in walking distance.
During breakfast, cutlery was frequently missing and had to be requested, and refills of tea or pastries were slow.

The location
We didn’t like the fact that the receptionist was rude . Made fun of us after going up and down 3 times because our door key was not working . Then put us in a room next door in the dark (no key no electric) for him to find a way of opening this blocked door with all our belongings in there . May I just add we didn’t get in to the bedroom till 2am considering we turned up at 12am . Then proceeded to put us in a different bedroom with you not the room booked (smaller bed) (uncomfortable) and to add to this we had a look round the room and the bed , the bed was full of hair .

Mercure is always a good standing. Clean , quiet. Good confort.
The night management gave me a room for handicap people. Why not. But the bathroom wasn’t appropriate for me. While taking a shower. Water went all around the bathroom.. all wet floor… I think because it is from Booking. They never give you the best room. So I am complaining… Beside that it is a good hotel.
