Since we were going to a concert up the street the location was very good. The lobby and restaurant were very nicely done and the best part was that they had free parking just behind the building since we drove. They also had a lobby bar - it was small and very limited but still open at 10:30 PM when we got home from the concert. The AC worked very well.
The room was pretty beat up and small. I never know if this is because I book through a third party and they give you the worst room because you did not book with them directly meaning they have to pay a fee to booking.com. The locks on the sliding doors to the balcony were broken off on both doors. The paint was chipped on much of the wood trim around doors and baseboards. The bed itself was fine. I found the staff to be very cold and rude at times. They would not even greet us when we walked by but carried on long, protracted conversations with the French guests while we waited our turn. Then they finished with us in 2 seconds. At $200 a night I expected more from this hotel. In addition, there are very few places to eat within walking distance and most close early or open up late.

The room is big enough to move around. The balcony have two glass doors so the noise from the road is block as long as they are closed. Our room faced the trees so we had privacy. There is a big parking lot for free.
This hotel is only good if you have a car. It is far from the center of Nice but not far enough to be quiet. The breakfast is one of the saddest I've seen, even in Europe. Some days there were no eggs. There were no vegetables, hardly any fruits. Slim selection of breads and the pastries not very fresh. I asked for extra pillows and they were not able to provide. I was told they don't have extra pillows.

For £140 a night you cannot moan really it’s sound , 15 minute drive from nice with a big car park , don’t be fooled by the pool in the photos it’s quite small staff were helpful and friendly ,

The first thing we found out after the reception giving us the un and the pw for the Internet alas there was no Internet. when we rang reception they said to forget and start again which we did several times and still no Internet. we then went to reception to query this and there response was there was road works going on for days and knocked out the Internet. we then asked why then would you give us the un and pw when we arrived? We got no answer? The next thing we found out that it took 1 hour and 1/2 to get to the centre of Nice. the problem was there was hardly and places to eat. they then wanted us to avail of their breakfast for €25 per person. no thank you ! The fridge in the room was hot so drinks not cold. Our main gripe is that they never told us about the Internet not working. this really affected my wife as she is a nurse manager and had to bring her work with her which involved a lot of emails. We have used booking.com before and never had a prob lem.They also charge our credit card for €150 as a deposit and have not as yet refunded us. This totally ruined our stay in Nice we did not enjoy our stay especially when charged 160 per night without food. We would expect to be compensated for this awful experience.

Wonderful
Good location (within 45 minutes driving distance to major scenic spots around Nice), convenient on-site secure parking, spacious and peaceful room, balcony with good city view, delicious food served at the hotel restaurant, friendly and helpful staff.
The swimming pool is quite small.
