Location is good if you are using the airport. The parking is a little difficult but manageable. Breakfast has good selection. Overall a nice place to stay.

+Location. Within a walking distance from the airport (terminal 1, from terminal 2 you will want to use the tram). Decent restaurants nearby (in case of late arrival, you might want to try L'Etna and its takeaway option). A good spot for daytrips via the nearby train station (Nice Saint-Augustin). Such as Monaco, Menton, Cannes and Antibes are approximately half an hour away. Nice is accessible via tram for cheaper, but trains go there as well.
+Peaceful and quiet.
-At arrival, the so called free internet had two offers including a data grab and registration or "slow free wifi for 24 hours". For us, the speed was 0mbps i.e. the wifi did not work. All we got were errors for an unknown reason. It did work later on, however. At arrival, also, there was no shower gel in the shower, which is bumming you out as you arrive from another continent and just want to contact your loved ones, have a decent shower and hit the bed.

I was originally not happy about being forced to pay the extra money book here since we were traveling with our 3 year old daughter and couldn't stay in the normal Novotel hotel even though our daughter shares a bed with us. However after checking in I was glad that we had booked such a nice room. It is a very well equipped room that had a kitchen. We saved money since we could get groceries from the nearby Carrefour Express and cook at the hotel room. Parc Phoenix was close by so we spent the day there while waiting to check in
We asked the employee working at the reception desk to help us turn the stove on since it wasn't working. He said he was alone at the desk and would come in 30 minutes. He never contacted us again.

Although the hotel claims that it has “underground parking”, to go from parking to the hotel requires getting out from a separate location and a roughly 5 minute walk back to the hotel. There is no direct elevator access to the parking facility.

The rooms were super convenient. There are separate toilet and bathroom, a decent dining table, sink in the “living room” area, small fridge, kettle and coffee machine. You can comfortably spend here a few days. We only stayed for two nights and really enjoyed them. Nice pool area is a huge plus on hot summer days. Hotel is close to the airport but it’s only short drive from the old city. Parking is the basement of the building is very convenient.
