The facility was beautiful. The location is perfect. Right next to the street car and 3min walk to the Nice-Ville train station. The room was very clean, and spacious. The hotel amenities are updates and the breakfast was delicious. The staff were extremely helpful, courteous and informative. I will certainly stay here again.

Super convenient location literally steps from tram and train station. Close to major shopping and restaurants also close to old nice via tram or walking. Room was very clean modern cute and comfortable. I didn’t have time to use the facilities but it was nice to have the option of gym and sauna. The staff at reception were always pleasant and helpful.

Unfortunately, our stay at Ikonik Marengo was very disappointing. The hygiene standards in the room were poor, and we experienced a lot of noise throughout the hotel. The trains could be heard constantly, even during the night. We also did not feel safe in the area outside the hotel after dark.
The front desk staff were not particularly friendly or helpful, especially a staff member named Melissa. In addition, we had to change rooms during our stay, which added further inconvenience. Overall, the experience did not meet our expectations, and I would not recommend this hotel

The front desk and breakfast room staff are super helpful, professional, and friendly.
The "clean my room" sign is white and states please clean my room in big bold letters, in French. The flip side is black and says "shhh do not disturb" in big bold letters, in French. However, the cleaning staff seemingly are both illiterate and color blind because if you hang any sign they "understand" it as "do not clean my room". We believe this is a bald faced lie and is simply an excuse to be lazy and shirk off their work. This is unacceptable at a 4 star hotel - either train the cleaning staff better or fire the current ones and get new people who will actually do their job.

The staff were very helpful and allowed us to check in early. The location is excellent.
The only issue was that my room was much smaller than my friend’s despite having the same booking. Overall, the hotel is great and I would stay here again

The hotel was nice and in a very convenient location close to the train station and city center. The personnel was incredibly nice and cheerful, and that really made an impression.

I found a big advantage of this hotel, that it was so close to the railway station.
With big, heavy luggages it makes everything easier. And if you want to travel with the train back and forth from/into other cities nearby, especially if you need to be on time, then it's very convenient.
It's still not far from the old part of the city and the coast, if you want to visit them.
The breakfast was nice, lot of different things to eat/drink.
The stuff was also very nice. Everything clean, and good.
I could sleep with earplugs, so the noises from the street/trains didn't disturb me at all!
(Without earplugs it would have been difficult)
I liked the fridge in my room!

Wasn’t what was advertised on booking.com.
Advertising and booked 2 interconnected rooms with 2 single beds.
Got there no such rooms existed- staff confirmed this.
Booking.com needs to verify before advertising rooms which don’t exist. Completely misleading customers and disappointing
