It was near the gate de nice
it was like renting a room, no fridge, no safe box. No cabinet, no telephone in the room, no water or kettle. One elevator in the hotel was working only, we had to wait 15 minutes to come down. We came back afternoon the door of our room was open. They didn’t close it week when they cleaned the room. We told the receptionist but they didn’t repair it

Older building, chintzy decor, mattresses/toppers wrapped in sheets slid off beds during the night while sleeping , staff threw away our extra plastic bags

Close to the central station so handy for an early day trip to Monaco by train.
I felt like I’d been transported back in time 25 years to my backpacking days when I stayed in hostels. The rooms are bare, minimal furniture, not even tea or coffee, no carpet on the floor. You could hear people in neighboring rooms coughing and talking.

The rooms doesn’t look like at all as the photos in booking. When I asked them about it they said that the hotel has been renovated and these were old photos. Renovated to what? To worse.. the room they gave us wa smelling food. Then they changed us to another that was smelling even worse. Finally we got a smaller room with only one small double bed but at least wasn’t smelling. With rhe exception of one person in the reception (I think Indian of origin) all the other staff in the reception we couldn’t communicate simple things. And I do speak English and French fluently. All in all terrible hotel and avoid it at all costs.

Breakfast was good but need more vegetarian options.

Location.
Should have been some form of bright tape on steps when you enter room 302. I was recovering from a bad knee, and because there was a slight step, I damaged my knee again. You don't expect to step into a room.
One towel not enough.
Room compact.
If you came down for breakfast at 9 30 am there was no egg or bacon we found one day. Hardly anything left. Was poor that day.

If you are travelling around other cities by train then the location is good otherwise is not worthed
Magnetic door cards didnt work everyday. Rooms are cramped. Staff are not friendly. Entrance and lobby are filthy. They Lost my daughters Crocs while we were not in the room and they disnt help much and compansate
