Great location, great hotel.
The only thing I had an issue with was the request to have twin beds. We replaced in a room with a king bed, although it had the capacity of being split into two twins. However, even upon asking housekeeping and front desk, personnel twice, the separation was never made. I would’ve been happy to do it myself, however, there weren’t any twin sheets available to replace the one king size fitted sheet.

I loved the staff and they made me feel very welcome. I also had an amazing view of the ocean and promenade.
I would recommend getting the breakfast. It’s a full buffet and the croissants were amazing!
It did not appear that the glass door to the balcony had a lock which was a bit of a concern. However the area felt very safe and I was on the 6th floor.

Perfect location, just in front of Promenade des Angles, ideal for long evening/night walk enjoying the sea breeze and 'street lights/music' at the same time. Walking distance to the Nice-Ville rail station for half-day trips (25 minutes east and you enjoy views of marina in Monaco, 35 minutes west brings you to downtown Cannes). Quick access to Nice airport.
Room with a sea view was perfect during the day with plenty of calming blue from the water and the sky and during the night with the lights of the Promenade.
Hotel Restaurant "La Siecle" had very good menu with very visual (and tasty) Le Flambeur Châteaubriand - very good food, nice seating (both outside and inside), very friendly and professional service - gentlemen managing the floor for sure knows and loves his job - he was attending to guests (welcoming and seating them), explaining and serving food, making everyone feel welcome - all with a smile and "French vibe". Live music in this restaurant on Tuesday nights was a perfect addition.
Very good breakfast - it got us going for many hours, which is useful if you plan local trips.
Hard to find something on 'what could be better' side. Elevator was a bit small, but it comes with the historic building.
Well, "what didn't you like" didn't apply much to our stay.

Location & view were unbeatable. Really nice, better than expected. Also, room was larger and more comfortable than I thought. Liked that the shades were true blackout too. Hotel staff was friendly.
Room showed a balcony but it appears not all floors have balconies. Room had some broken items that should have been attended to. Staff was generally friendly but forgot to call a cab for our 4am trip to airport and tried to charge us $70 for the 2 borrowed outlet converters. Check the bill. Restaurant was ok but there are much better.

Great exterior, close to the beach and promenade, clean.
We did not have breakfast there. We had 2 rooms on the 5th floor. One of the rooms was STILL not ready at 4pm. We arrived at 10:30am. When our friends finally occupied the room there was no air conditioning at all which we were made aware of and we were not happy, they bought us a drink in the bar, but when you are paying that kind of money for a small room, to us it wasn't worth the value. They should have given us other accommodations or offered complimentary breakfast for all of us.

We stayed 3 nights. At first, we were given a very small room with no view, limited storage, and no outlets near the bed. However, the staff was incredibly helpful and offered us several good alternatives at the same rate. We chose to upgrade to a larger room with an amazing sea view—it completely changed our experience. The new room was quiet, spacious, and the hotel’s location on the Promenade des Anglais was perfect, close to everything and with fantastic views of the beach.
A mixed start, but thanks to the helpful staff and beautiful sea-view room, our stay turned out to be a great experience.
There were no outlets in the bathroom, so I couldn’t use my own hair tools, and the hotel’s hairdryer was not very effective. Also, there was no hand soap in the bathroom.

The location, the breakfast and the staff were incredible. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, a melange between okd gold times and actual modern day. Strong recommended!
The back side view of our rooms. We were not lucky enough in getting a front view rooms, while our back side view was accompanied by a noisy AC chiller which was located under our rooms. Maybe next time …

None of the staff in the hotel (except the breakfast area) staff has any motivation to make customer's happy. No one even pretends to smile. Despite complaining WiFi was bad, no one cared to fix it. Room cleaning was completely bad.
