Stylishly decorated, free water, nice lobby.
Staff was RUUUUUUUUUUUUUDE. Air conditioning DID NOT WORK when it was 95 degrees Fahrenheit out, but felt like 107 degrees Fahrenheit according to my weather app, and they told me it was not their problem and they didn't need to issue a refund. They were well aware it didn't work and never called ahead of time. The room's air was still and going to give anyone heat stroke who stayed there. I checked in and walked up to the room for 15 mins trying to wait for the AC unit to adjust to a certain temp, never made the bed or unpacked. Decided I was so sick to my stomach trying to even just sit on the edge of the bed that I needed to check out and go find somewhere with normal AC. When I brought this to the attention of the front desk woman, she was rude, condescending, snappy, and unapologetic. She told me they were aware the AC wasn't working, never mentioned it at check in, and told me since they were "working on it" that I was out of luck. I was threatened that if I cancelled, I would receive zero refund. I was standing in front of her when I went on Booking.com and did cancel - there was just no way I could stay with it being that hot. I did get a cancellation fee from Booking.com, which I would still like refunded now that I am home and my trip is over. I received FALSE advertising. If the AC doesn't work when it's as hot as the Sahara Desert, do the right thing and refund someone for goodness sake and don't be a rude person about it. I cannot recommend this establishment. Save yourself and go over to Hotel Baccarat a block away and get a bigger room with a balcony for less money. Now that I am home, I will be contacting Booking.com for a refund of my "cancelation fee" - absurd to cancel a falsely advertised room.

One of the best hostels I've ever been to. Clean, comfy, friendly. You're allowed to eat your own food on the first floor. There's a perfect breakfast for just 7 EUR. You can buy padlocks at the reception, and the location is very central.

Good privacy for the beds, although the curtains could be a bit longer to fully block the view
Excellent location right by the main train station and within 15 minutes of Old Nice and the beach

I had really friendly roommates and because of that I felt quite safe. The bed area is comfortable too. Life saver for solo travelers. The staff were super helpful too!
The bathroom smell was kinda bad (Not the kind of public restroom smell, but maybe old facility?). It wasn't unbearable anyway. Also, Suggestion to the hostel: I suggest that the ladder to the top bunker to be diagonal to the floor. It was taxing to climb up and down.

Beautiful hostel, beds had nice privacy curtains. Remodeled bathrooms were pretty. Offered complimentary lattes and juice in the morning. Staff are very friendly, especially Sarah!
Rooms for 4 are quite small.

Close proximity to the train station. Our room had a private terrace. The breakfast was nice.
The sheets were low quality. The storage room door right beside our room was broken and off the hinges, just leaning over the doorway. The hallway was very narrow, so difficult to get our luggage to our room.

This place was amazing! Super friendly staff, smelled great, clean, super fancy and solid beds. Lounge was fun and lots of seats. Foosball table. 3 minute walk from main train station!
The beds were a little cramped, don’t stay if claustrophobic!

The facility is clean and also its room. The bed is nice and with privacy curtain. The room has its own toilet and bath inside the room.
The common area is cozy.
The hostel location is quite near the main area for restaurants and walking distance to the beach.
Luggage can be stored for free and the laundry is just one corner away from the hostel.
The room is quite small if you have a luggage.
The one I don"t like the most is the hostel has kitchen but has no fridge and no alcoholic drink is allowed in tbe property. The kitchen without fridge is unusual
