Although small the room was comfortable and cosy. The location was great with close proximity to most areas and walking distance to beach, resturants and shops. Friendly staff and water and coffee bar was convenient in lobby.
Michelin Star resturants next to hotel and variety of Patisserie ( Maison ARMAND) in area is a must try.
Breakfast could be better as the variety was limited and the same each day. The dining area was quite small and crowded with tables very close to each other which made manoeuvring around quite difficult.

Concierge was truly excellent, every member professional, friendly, helpful. A joy to be welcomed by them. It's not a sleek, no-personality hotel. It's charming, comfy, clean, a cozy lobby with free filtered water, coffee, tea. I never care about breakfast but this one looked as good or a better than usual (no restaurant within but many close by). I LOVED my room. I don't know if they're all as great but it had such a good feel. Housekeeping was lovely too. Great place to stay, I'll be back, more than once.
Can't think of anything that was missing - concierge even came up and reprogrammed my tv after a few days when I was ready for some English language news. Maybe a movie channel would have been nice but that's really a non-issue.

The hotel was lovely, breakfast great with eggs, sausages,bacon, many different breads, cheese, meat, fruit! Etienne the desk clerk was awesome, he served us drinks in the little bar in the lobby. Room was large, bathroom was lux with huge tub and shower and double sinks. Plenty of room for all our toiletries. Marlise worked the breakfast room and cleaned rooms also. She so sweet and accommodating! My husband left his hat at breakfast and she saved it for him until the next day! Nothing not to love. Location was perfect! 10 minutes walk to train station and Old Town Nice, 5 minutes to Promenade de anglais! Perfect!

The hotel is perfectly located, easy walk to Vieux Nice, the promenade, great restaurants and good shopping.
The staff was exceptional in all categories.

Good location and friendly staff
The room felt like a storage. We entered through the breakfast area. Our room was opening to the breakfast lounge it was very loud when the staff were preparing the breakfast.
I could have booked a 5 star hotel for the same price by the coast. I choose here because we thought it was authentic but ended up staying in an annex building ,where you enter from an attic.

Breakfast was amazing, staff so nice, great location close to everything but quiet at night. Wish hotel had gym facilities. Did not have a gym, but had other nice amenities like a towel warmer, separate shower from toilet (which was helpful for family of 4).

Very good buffet breakfast. Central location. Cyclist friendly. Comfortable beds. Aircon. 24h reception. Green profile. Good restaurants and cafés nearby.
Bathroom was due for refurbishing; awkward getting out of the bathtub after showering even for athletic people, no ventilation extract, toilet roll holder kept falling off the wall.

Wonderful
The staff went above and beyond supporting us to make our stay in Nice comfortable and to help us get the most out of seeing the city. They helped us with travel arrangements out of NIce, taxis to a musuem, and with two excurstions. They were really flexible with storing our baggage before and after check-in. Everyone helped us with a smile.
Breakfast was a little expensive, but it was good and hearty.

My room was charming! I even had a little balcony with a cafe table. Perfect for wine in the afternoon.
There was a bit of ‘touch up’ that was needed. Regluing wallpaper, touch up paint. Rehang door under bathroom sink so the door will close properly. Tiny fixes.
