Very Good
Location is fantastic. Cant be beat. Amazing views and near the marina and old town and castle hill. Staff is genuinely friendly and accommodating. Breakfast buffet on the elegant terrace with lemon trees is lovely.
Ultra thin walls between rooms. I could hear people using the toilet in the rooms next to ours in the am. Also, no hot tub that was advertised. Disappointed!

Stayed in October: liked the calm boutique vibe. Friendly attentive professional staff. Timely room service. Interesting location just by the hill garden.
Rooms could be bigger but it still big enough, speccially for France, iron could be great but again probably too much for a small room

Everything about this hotel is excellence. The rooms were generous clean comfortable and had fab views of the sea. My fave thing were all staff who made our stay extra special. From front of house to restaurant staff to cleans and porters all were super friendly, helpful and great to chat with. We loved it at Hotel Perouse

The room was well equipped and had all the elements to make our stay very comfortable. There was a large bed and a good sized balcony. We enjoyed the breakfast in the hotel and were pleased to be able to eat outside on three out of four mornings. The hotel is in a great location between the Old Town and the port with a lovely market and restaurants, shops and bars.
I drink coffee which was great but my wife as a tea drinker found the water for tea not hot enough and a rather haphazard arrangement to serve the tea.

Wonderful
The hotel is in a fabulous location on the coast, minutes from the old town in one direction and the port in the other. The views - especially at sunset- from the rooftop terrace are incredible! I went up there three times and had the whole place to myself each time, it was just heaven. The pool is also beautifully situated, right against the cliff face, so you can watch little birds flying backwards and forwards as you swim.
The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The lovely young man on the front desk was very patient with my attempts to speak French. It's not in my nature to be demanding, but I have no doubt that if I *had* wanted anything, it would have been very swiftly provided. On the first evening, nothing needed doing to my room as I'd just arrived, but the housekeeper made sure I still got my bedtime pillow chocolate!
My room was very comfortable, with soft sheets, fluffy robe and slippers and gorgeous smelling toiletries For me, this was just the right level of luxury: there were lots of thoughtful details that made it feel special, but it wasn't so fancy as to be stuffy or unwelcoming. I loved everything about my stay and was sad to leave!
Just two tiny complaints - no hooks in the room or bathroom and no milk for my tea (although I'm sure if I'd asked, some would have been brought up!)
