Don’t let the pictures fool you. Run far away! THIEVES! Do not trust the hotel front desk staff They appear friendly but thats a scam. Upon checkout they tried to charge us for things we did not use or ask for to increase the cost so please double check your final bill before paying. Also we inadvertently left an item in the room after checking out. The next day we called the hotel and the clerk said they had the item but would need over $100 to mail it back to us. Upon giving our credit card number for the shipping charge they ran up three fake charges on our credit card for different amounts totaling almost $900 dollars to a fictitious account. Thankfully the credit card company caught it and are investigating. We initially thought it was the one person who ran the charge that was dishonest but they are all in it together and cover for each other. We tried to call back to the hotel repeatedly to get further answers and they keep hanging up the phone and would not let us speak to the person or supervisor. Its a shame because we had a beautiful time in Nice prior to this event but would never stay here again.
They are thieves.

We absolutely loved Hotel Appollinaire for our Christmas trip to Nice. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially with our questions about transit around the region. The room was beautiful and roomy, and the sauna was incredible after a long day of walking. It sits about halfway between the main train station and the beach, which makes everything about a 10-15 minute walk away.

Good location. Easy walking and if you need transport the Durand tram stop is less than 5 mins walk away (good for an airport transfer too!)
Unfortunately no access to the wellness area due to renovation but there was no price adjustment for this so that wasn’t ideal. Breakfast and room service options were also a bit limited

It wasn't clear that the breakfast wasn't included so I was a bit surprised at the end that I had to pay for it. The rooms have a very basic fit, it works but don't expect luxury. The elevator is tiny and takes ages, I opted to take the stairs most of the time.

The hotel was within quick walking distance of all of the major sites in Nice. The staff were terrific, both at the front desk and at the bar/lounge area. We really enjoyed their Wellness area as well.

Fantastic location, lovely staff and great facility
The staff were so helpful as I came in early after a long flight and since my room wasn't ready at the time of my arrival they let me use the shower in the spa to refresh and go out and enjoy the city till my room is ready and they got the room ready two hours earlier than expected

I stayed at Hôtel Apollinaire Nice for 9 nights in October 2025 with my wife during our anniversary vacation in the French Riviera. Overall, it’s a stylish and comfortable boutique hotel conveniently located within walking distance of Old Town, the tram station (Durandy), and many restaurants.
The room was modern, clean, and well-decorated. The staff at the reception were friendly and professional, and check-in was smooth. The breakfast buffet (22€) offered a good selection of fresh pastries, fruits, and coffee. The location was perfect for exploring Nice on foot, and we felt safe even when walking back at night. Free water refill was nice!
The room’s soundproofing wasn’t perfect — we could occasionally hear hallway noise and music at night time from a dance studio behind the hotel.

The hotel was stylish, attractive and well located. The breakfast was fairly expensive but well worth it. There was good variety and everything was very tasty. The staff was the most outstanding feature of the hotel. They were not only pleasant but genuinely helpful in many ways.
Our room was way too small. There was no place to open the suitcase ex pet on the floor right by the bed which required me to crawl to the end of the bed to get out of bed, which was exhausting. While this is my only criticism of the hotel. It significantly impacted our stay.

The breakfast was excellent. The room had a balcony which looked out over the park. It was the perfect place to share a bottle of wine and some food we picked up at the market. Would definitely stay there again.
When we got to the hotel we knew we were a couple hours early and had planned to store our bags to explore a bit. The staff at the front desk were excellent and stated that the room was ready and we could check in then. We were very happy after a long trip. When we got the room, the door was open and was being checked over by housekeeping. When i showed her the key, she become agitated and allowed us in but said something in very rapid French that my limited French could not understand, Obviously she was not happy that we were given a key to the room. Was a bit awkward.
