nothing to like about this hotel or its staff
This is, by far, the worst hotel I have ever stayed it. The photos on the website and description of the facilities do not meet what you actually get on arrival: hair and dust on the bed frame which has not been cleaned in years, dust under the bed and bedside table, worn out furniture, scuffed and stained walls, no ventilation in the shower, dingy towels. When I asked the staff why there was no sofa or coffee maker as advertised, they said they had no sofas in any rooms and you cannot choose which room you get. There is no sound proof at all, and the noise all night and early in the morning was horrendous which means you can never get any rest. Booking.com is very clear that you should get exactly what is advertised, so this listing uses false advertising. On several occasions, I was told the person at the reception did not speak English, so I had to come back later.
When I said I wanted to move out as the room was not as advertised and very dirty, the staff got aggressive and seemed displeased that I was not happy about the dirt in the room and the facilities. After a lot of arguing, they agreed to refund me for one night and, 11 days later, I am still waiting for that refund. They have now stopped responding to my messages.
I have reported this hotel to booking.com who said they would issue a refund themselves.
DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL as it is not worth the money they charge. There are many other hotels around that area that charge similar fees.

Wonderful
Comfortable room with large window overlooking a courtyard. Very attentive/accomodating staff. Secure bag storage next to reservation desk. Hotel is covieniently located: walking distance, with luggage, from Nice Ville Train, and an easy walk to the beautiful beach and Old Nice.

Great location, helpful staff, clean room
The shower in my room was very open with no shower curtain and water spilled out on to the floor. Also the lighting in the shower room was an interesting set of blue lights which meant the shower room itself was incredibly dark.

The location is close to the city center as well as the Nice Ville Train station on foot about 10 minutes. The room is spacious and housekeeping did cleaning everyday. I was checked in earlier than the scheduled regular check in time .It was a nice gesture .
A/C was inoperative . The bathtub area needs a shower curtain .After every shower , the bathroom floor instantly gets wet and there is no drainage on the floor . It causes hazardous and risky environment in the bathroom . Two out of three plugs in the room is inoperative .
