The location and the staff were great! It has a great quality/price relation. They let us leave our bags in the hotel after check out until our flight.
The sheets were not very clean when we arrived. The doors are not very soundproof so you can hear everything going on in the hallway.

The hotel has a great location.
The room was spacious, bed was comfortable, amenities were good and the staff was really nice.
Old buildings have higher ceilings, which gives a nice feel.
They keep a bottle of fileted drinking water in your room and refill it every day.
The building is very old and the floors were creaking, but in France, one would call it characterful rather than old ;)
The breakfast could be better. For a French hotel, the croissants were not that great :)
On the last day, the water temperature of the shower was swinging wildly between very cold to scalding hot water.
The Wi-Fi was poor and would disconnect a lot.

The location was close to the tram, train station, and everything.
The room was clean and of good size.
The reception staff was very patient and friendly. When I was checking in a very large, demanding and rude group was also checking in. The reception staff showed unbelievable patience.

The shower design meant that the bathroom was always wet.

The shower set up is very difficult to manage. The glass enclosure doesn’t prevent water from getting g all over the floor and flooding the bathroom. While keeping towels is desirable they are needed to dry the floor and there is little room to hang them to dry in any case

Hotel is in an old building and could use renovations in the rooms. The room was clean but outdated. You could easily hear other people walk and talk in the corridors.

The staff were friendly. The bathroom was newly decorated and very clean. The room was fine for the one night we stayed before our flight early the next morning but wouldn't have liked it for longer. The bed was pretty comfortable. Loved the chandelier in my room, it was the only nice thing about the room. The location is pretty good, close to the train station and tram stops and close to the main shopping street. About a 25 minute walk to the old town and beach so depends where you want to be near.
We seemed to be in the old part of the hotel and the walls in the bedrooms were very thin, you could hear absolutely everyone in the corridors and rooms around you so it was very noisy all day and all night. Therefore, I had a terrible night sleep. The air con wasn't great, it sometimes worked and sometimes didn't so for really hot in the middle of the night. The room was pretty dated and had marks all over the walls which made it feel dirty or something. I wouldn't recommend staying here to anyone, it was particularly cheap.

The hotel is very well located — close to a shopping mall and just a few steps away from a lively street filled with shops, restaurants, and cafés. It’s in a quiet area, which was one of our specific requests, and that was a big plus. Overall, it offers good value for money: the rooms were comfortable, breakfast was very good, and the whole stay was pleasant.
The internet was slow, and there is no on-site parking. Street parking is often busy, and the alternative is the shopping mall’s parking with a discount — still quite expensive, though that’s common for Nice. Our superior room, while comfortable, was rather simple and not particularly stylish. The air conditioning worked but made a strange noise, which made us avoid using it.

Lovely boutique hotel with a fantastic location. So close to everything! Lovely style about the place and super clean. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

The hotel’s location is excellent — very close to the train station, the old town, and main shopping areas. Considering the price and star rating, the facilities were acceptable and the overall stay in Nice was unforgettable.
There are important issues that the hotel must take more seriously. First, the cleanliness of the room walls was not acceptable. We understand this is a coastal city and humidity might be a factor, but that’s not an excuse. The walls were visibly dirty and clearly had not been properly cleaned or maintained. This should be addressed with more care and attention.
Second, we noticed a small insect on our bed. While it was not a major infestation, it was still uncomfortable. We purchased an insect spray ourselves and dealt with the issue — but this is not something guests should have to do.
The biggest disappointment, however, was the front desk experience. The reception desk is directly in front of the hotel’s main entrance, so staff could easily see guests coming in and out. Yet we were barely acknowledged. We entered and exited the hotel multiple times a day, and rarely received even a simple greeting — not just us, but other guests too. The staff seemed uninterested and unapproachable.
In France — especially in the South — people are usually warm and friendly, and we’ve experienced great hospitality in many other cities. But unfortunately, that spirit was completely missing here. Even small gestures like a “hello,” a smile, or a “welcome” can make a world of difference — especially for honeymooners. After the first day, we gave up trying to greet the staff, which felt very unlike us.
We sincerely hope the hotel improves both its cleanliness standards and guest interaction in the future.
