We stayed in the hotel twice so I will copy my review on both bookings. The 1st time we had an Executive Room (3 nights) which was great. It was big and comfy and we enjoyed it. The greatest thing about this hotel is the location - excellent! Close to the beach, old city, restaurants, main streets, all within walking distance. In some of the days we rented a car and the hotel gives parking for 22 EUR a day in the "Interparking Sulzer" right outside it. The staff are friendly and helpful, we really had a good time. On the last day of our stay, the hot water problem started (boiler malfunction, entire hotel had only freezing cold water). It was unpleasant, but things happen, so we weren't too upset at first. The hotel gave us 1 day free parking as compensation. Then we came back for our 2nd stay. It has been 4 days (!) since, and they still didn't fix the hot water problem! Ridiculous. We had to stay 2 nights (3 days) and they didn't fix it by then. We got an upgrade to the Junior Suite which was huge and amazing (living room & porch, etc.), and we thanked them for it, but we couldn't shower in the cold water the entire time, and still they had no solution. Honestly I wanted to give the hotel a "10" grade since it really was so great, but the hot water thing really made me lower it, and I feel bad because it's nobody's fault and it's not a bad hotel! If I ever come back to Nice I would definitely stay in it again. By the time we left it was over a week without hot water. I think they should have been more creative with it, like offer guests to shower in a gym/spa/something nearby, because not everyone can switch to another hotel. We felt sorry every time we saw new guests arriving and thought "poor souls, they don't know about the water yet". If it weren't for the water thing, I would highly recommend this hotel when travelling to Nice!! (Update: The hotel credited us 40% on the 2nd stay.

Loved the location, the private beach and that it was walking to restaurants and shopping. ALL the staff were friendly and nice. Definitely a place to return to.

Great location right near the beach in Old Town. Clean, modern room. Excellent air conditioning. Large bottle of water greeted us. Large bath towels. Robes and slippers. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff.

The hotel is ideally located - step outside and you’re in the heart of Nice with plenty to do. Parking is available nearby and can be arranged by the hotel for an extra cost. The rooms are small but comfortable, making it a great base from which to enjoy Nice.
