DO NOT STAY HERE We had a number of issues The heating in the room didnt work so we had to sleep in our clothes to keep warm. During the night, water had flooded the floor through the windows (from the overnight rain). The shower had a large amount of black mould. The bathroom sink was blocked and didnt drain. The hairdryer didnt work. The bed was so uncomfortable that the two of us together kept rolling into the middle. There was food (or some other substance) on the walls. We raised these issues with the staff who were rude, abrasive, and non-apologetic. They refused to give us a refund despite us leaving after one night. We were incredibly disappointed. I would not recommend staying here.

The hotel is very centrally located in an area close to the bus station that takes you to the airport (it's an easy three-minute walk) and also close to bars, restaurants, and shops. Most downtown city attractions and landmarks are within walking distance, which I think is this hotel's greatest asset. The room I got on the first floor was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable, the sheets were soft, and the pillows were perfect; not too hard and not too soft. The bathroom was spacious. The kitchenette was small but included plenty of items to cook or prepare something (including wine glasses). During my three-day stay, I only used the refrigerator to store water bottles and the coffee machine to make a cup in the morning while getting ready.
The room I got (112) faced a bar and a sort of alley, so the noise was constant. It'd quiet down until 1:30 or 2 a.m., though sometimes voices from the street could still be heard. The handheld shower head was too big and heavy for the shower arm and kept falling off. I didn't get room service during my stay; it was unclear if it was something I had to request.

I liked the nice Afro-French guys at the reception, but I didnt like that when they moved me to another room, it was just as cold and noisy and it was impossible to sleep until 5 am. Since the windows overlook the bar and nightclubs, loud music can be heard until 6 am. It's completely impossible to sleep even with earplugs! There was a very nice African security guard who opened the doors for me when I arrived at the hotel in the evening!
Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience with this hotel... I froze in my room, got sick there with severe bronchitis, sinusitis and high fever. I slept dressed under a blanket, a winter down jacket and a hat. It was impossible to take a shower because it was cold there. I didn't sleep at night for several days because loud music with bass, rap and heavy metal was constantly playing. Nearby there were nightclubs and bars, where young people had fun with alcohol until the morning. It was like a nightmare. The hotel has no restaurant, no room service, no phone in the room to call the front desk.

Bad hotel in Nantes. The room is very cold. No double glazing. It is impossible to sleep until 5 am. Until all the bars and clubs close. Lack of usual things in the kitchen for cooking.
