The staff were pleasant and friendly.
The TV and the coffeemaker did not work. The TV had like 5 channels that worked; rest were blank screen. The coffee maker lacked any instructions and it just poured water even after putting coffee pods.

The only issue we had was the safes in both rooms didn’t close. Maintenance did come out to fix one but it broke again very shortly after so we couldn't risk using it. Other than that everything was great

Disappointing
Thank you for the staff being helpful and friendly and the bed was comfortable.
- Heater was "on" at a max of 23 degrees (probably blocked by the hotel to avoid costs) but the room couldn't go higher than 14 degrees. It was not nice to sleep in an igloo!
- We were warned not to turn the hot water too high in the risk of the smoke detectors to go off: thankfully the water was a mere warm level and just enough to be bearable.
- No soap in any of our dispensers.
- Cleanliness was just OK. The sheets were washed and ironed, they were just old and therefore had black marks.
- No ability to call the front desk (there is none in this hotel) for more covers. Seriously Mercure, I see what you are doing here: trying to propose a more "modern" type of hotel but really cutting costs left and right. If I wanted a capsule hotel with no human interactions, I would have chosen a different brand (which I will do next time).

The lady at the reception desk was very helpful, especially when it came out that there is no hot water in the room (!), she offered a key to another room at the same floor to take a shower there. The hotel is within a walking distance from RER (suburb train) station.
Well, first off all, there was no hot water in the room and at first, I was told that I need to wait for it, because everybody is taking shower at the same time etc. Secondly, there was no fridge in the room (it is true that it is not in the description), which for me is strange in hotels of this level. Thirdly, there were no coffee capsules- I asked for them and the nice lady from the reception brought them, but it didn't help much because the coffee machine did not work anyway (!). Finally, the area around does not seem very safe.

We had a lot of Noise from a very loud guest early hrs for a good hr . This was perhaps a spoiler and a room phone would have helped as we couldn’t call down to report it so we did lose sleep

I booked nonrefundable then I wanted to shift the reservation for 1 day due to plans change, same number of nights but 1 day later, Hotel refused to move the reservation for just 1 day claiming that there is no availability in the day after
But i booked this day after separately which raise a serious question about customer focus and transparency

Very close to the train station and the weekly Nanterre market. Room was very clean and hotel staff were friendly.
Room key access required for the front door which is a nice safety feature. Breakfast is available, but we did not have time to try it out.
The safe in the room did not work and the hotel staff did not know how to get it working.

The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. Very helpful staff.
The hotel is a four minute walk from the RER station which is very convenient. However the area did not feel particularly safe when I returned to the hotel, very late one evening, from an Olympic event. During the day it was fine.
