Location is perfect for snowboarding/skiing. The hotel has an area to store your board/skis and change into your boots. Rooms are great, basic but cosy while still being spacious.

We booked a 2 star hotel and this is what Hotel Valerie is, yes the room was on the small side and also the bathroom but this is 2 star so we didnt expect more. We slept like logs, the water was always piping hot and Madame couldnt have been nicer, even letting us use one bedroom after the check out time to store all our bags in till we departed which meant we and our friends could change and sort ourselves out in comfort before heading to the airport after squeezing in a half day of skiing. Breakfast was very good too.
Slight smell of smoke in the mornings which may have been other guests smoking in their rooms.

the hotel was about 2 minutes from the lifts which was brilliant. Our host was lovely and so accommodating on our last day. breakfast was simple but set us up
perfectly for a day on the slopes!

The breakfast at the hotel was good value, with plenty of choice in addition to croissants there were cheese, ham, brioche, cereal and home made apple cake, which was lovely, range of juices and hot drinks plus some fresh fruit. Beds were comfortable and good storage space. The ski locker in the basement with door out into the street was really practical and appreciated. The lady owner was always friendly, chatty and helpful.
The rooms were generally clean but some dust under the beds and in corners. The decor was quite dated and the bathroom had a bath with a shower fitting fitting but no shower curtain meaning you could not have a stand up shower. Plenty of hot water though.

location superb, good value for money, Valrie pleasant.
needs an upgrade as the hotel has a lingering aroma of staleness. breakfast basic - could do with more fruit, more gluten free, more yoghurts.

Hotel breakfast was great with plenty of variety.
Maybe a little expensive at 12 Euro, 10 Euro would have been fair, no complaints though as better than other establishments.

Simple accommodation but clean, tidy, and everything you could require for a ski holiday - central, close to lifts, ski school, bars and restaurants. Ski / boot room was good, and continental breakfast was enough to set you up till the evening. Owner / manager lives on site and was quick to respond when residents where locked out. Highly recommend!

Breakfast was complete and good tasting
Room was overall comfortable, in particular the bed.
Bathroom can be improved, as both showers and WC wasn't so comfortable.
