Near airport, very friendly staff, comfortable bed, breakfast included boiled eggs for protein.
The shuttle to the airport was late and very slow, and my room had a slight smell that wasn’t good, towels had stains.

The room was very comfortable and clean. It was great to have coffee and tea making facilities provided, plus the added bonus of a fridge — very convenient for our stay! Great to have free parking on the premises.
The area has very few restaurants, no grocery stores, and not much around in terms of amenities. It has more of an industrial feel, which might not be ideal for those looking for a vibrant neighborhood.

The area was clean.
The scrambled eggs were Luke warm at best and not much left for each day.
There was limited food out during both breakfasts. A lack of cold meats during busy times.
Very busy breakfast area where I struggled to find a seat.

You would not expect a great experience for this price and the usual business park - behind the mc drive - location, but there's a nice catch. Ibis Massy actually has gone through great lengths to make the experience from the moment you drive onto their protected walled garden, a great one. There's a terrace with subtle bamboo plants hiding the car park. there's shadow in the car park, there's a few overnight chargers for EV's for 10 euros and they work well! we topped up our car completely. there's the good looking carpets, there's the free vintage arcade machine downstairs, there's the very very very good breakfast with waffles to make, with fresh squeezed juices assorted (like 5 or 6, including freshly squeezed oranges), with cook your own eggs, with proper scrambled eggs that taste well and are warm, and bacon that is warm and well cooked and tasty. The And great coffee, and coffee to go if you'd want, and great selection of various breads and croissants, and cereals, and cheeses, and meats, and frankly, it's a better breakfast that 90% of the hotels we've had in France, with only one exception where we return for the breakfast. The room is very cleverly laid out and there's little things, like extra pillows, and ample place to put your stuff. A usb/plug on a very long cord so it can be pulled towards the bed, properly working free wifi so you can stream, silent hallways, proper way to darken the room if you'd want, great shower pressure. There's a lot to like. We did have some issues with the room, but were amazed by how the staff picked this up. And that made the difference between how we felt about our stay: the staff actually seems to care about their customers, and make them feel cared for. I don't know who designed this experience and trained the staff, but I can only give my compliments to the team that made our simple overnight stay such a good and memorable one. We WILL return here.
Through a mistake, the initial room wasn't made up. This was quickly solved by assigning us a new room. The second room had an issue with the airco, which worked great but dripped on the carpet, more than a bit of condensation drops. Again, we were supplied with a new room without giving us the feeling for one second we were a pain in the backside. Well done to turn this around.
This Ibis, like most, is situated on a business park. Close to exit/entry ramps to the hightway, close to any kind of fast food you could want. As a result, it doesn't have a great feel to it prior to arriving to the grounds. As mentioned before, Ibis did a wonderful job making us feel safe, with a walled garden, and secure fence, as well as making sure we could have breakfast not looking out to the car park, but instead put some greens in place so it felt like a proper oasis .
