Fabulous view from room. Junior staff excellent, very helpful and polite.
Breakfast expensive. Budget breakfast poor. Dinner good - when it was available. When booked into a hotel, dinner bookings are usually available until midday - but not here. Unless booked the day before they were not available. We were told that the restaurant was full on three occasions when on checking in the evening it clearly was not it was just that the hotel had decided to only set half of the tables. So no consideration for guests just the staffing levels. Senior staff most unhelpful about this, surly even.
Room a bit scruffy and not well equipped.

The location is ok. Right by the lake. La Ferme restaurant was very good. Young pleasant staff and a brilliant atmosphere. My wife is gluten-free so that split the fondue for two into separate pans. First class.
Breakfast at €17 too expensive. We took it and you would have to be a glutton to get your moneys worth. Our initial room was incredibly small and located in a little area along with two other rooms behind a fire door. Carpet and chair was stained. Complained and got a slightly better room but still very poor value for money. A hotel of faded glory that had certainly seen better times I’m afraid

Its location is great! The staff are friendly and more than willing to help. Their English is much better than our French and they tried to understand our broken vocabulary and help where they could. The bed was very comfy!
The breakfast is crazy expensive for what it is, I’d recommend not having that.
The sheets in the room had a funny smell to them, like they had been laundered and then not dried fully before being put away. Almost smelt like a curry! Nothing that put us off and we soon didn’t notice until coming back into the room.
The bathroom is quite basic and could do with a shower head holder and shower curtain. But we made do with what was there.

Not much
The word that best sums up this hotel is “pretentious”. It styles itself as a four-star establishment, but is actually only an acceptable three-star. After a room change to one that met my requested access with no stairs, I found the room lacking in charm. Although the corridors were carpeted, the room was fitted with vinyl flooring, giving it a cool atmosphere. The work area was a wooden table of barely adequate size, but fitted with a plate-glass top, making it useless as a mouse pad.
The restaurant was expensive, but served a mise-en-bouche of cuisses de grenouilles soup, a novelty for me. I was disappointed that the escargots were served, not in their shells, but without their shells and cooked in a red wine sauce, not what I had expected.
I would only use this hotel again if there was no alternative available in the area.

Really enjoyed our stay. Evening meal in the hotel restaurant for Monday was very busy , food and service was brilliant. Staff happy, very polite, friendly and more than happy to help. Will definitely stay here again.
Choice of food at buffet breakfast - too many cakes, no croissants.
As we had a late breakfast some items were in short supply. Also there was no sausage and no orange juice - we had to ask for more which staff were happy to do.
