Beautiful property very clean with a calm ambiance. It is perched on a hill and has a far reaching city view. Very convenient location for the city.
There is a steep climb up the hill or stairs from the city back to the hotel if walking, which was fine for us but might not be for those with mobility issues. It was fairly easy to get a taxi.

Staff, facilities, view and the pool were all fabulous.
It’s a 10-15 min walk up a steep hill to get back from the town, tricky in such hot weather.

Beautiful location high on the hill overlooking Lyon, beautiful historic building, infinity pool with views of the city, lovely suite.
Price of room, food, drinks and spa. Happy to pay a premium to stay in a beautiful hotel but the prices were excessive. Pool terrace and mid level restaurant menus were surprisingly limited.

We loved Villa Florentine — the location is fantastic, and the view from the pool our absolute highlight. A beautiful place to relax, and to go wine and dine in the city.

The area around the pool is small with only a dozen sun beds.
The location has outstanding views over the old city but it means you have to face a lot of steps or take taxis to go anywhere in Lyons
