Room toilet were spacious, the staff were clean and helpful. Location was okay.
I wish the windows could be opened so it would be more airy. For smokers, only option is the light bar at the entrance which closes at 22:00.

The location was good. The view was good. The restaurant was excellent with the excellent panoramic view. The stuff was friendly and polite.
The room temperature at night was a bit high despite the air conditioner. Surely the unusually hot outside temperature contributed to this as well as that our window faced west. Maybe we didn't figure out the best way to shade the window.

Excellent service especially the help of the concierge which recommended us a lot of nice places to visit in Lyon. The room were big and clean. Highly recommended !

Personal at the breakfast room was amazing very friendly. Bar was the contrary, almost a disaster - arrogant.

Great location, amazing staff, and a beautiful, modern lobby! The suite we stayed in was big and the beds were very comfortable. However, while the main areas of the hotel are modern, the room itself looked quite old and needs renovation. You can't beat the location, though just a short walk to Place Bellecour and the old town.

The location was perfectly located to the Metro. The view of the river was perfect. The size of the suite overwhelmed us. The bed was comfortable. The staff were terrific. I had cut finger away from the hotel when we returned the concierge quickly came to my rescue with putting antibiotic ointment and a fresh bandage on Maine. Very kind of her.

Location was okay. Size was decent for triple sharing.
Clenaer wasn’t so thorough. Didnt throw trash. Toilet papers are too thick. In my mind it’s a waste. Interiors need to be updated and there was a smell in our room.

The staff was very helpful in recommending and booking restaurants.
The shower. I am used to European showers, but in this case, the small piece of plexiglass (in lieu of a curtain) was leaky at the bottom. I tried and tried, but I couldn't prevent a lot of water from leaking onto the floor (or around the glass).

The view from breakfast is breathtaking and the location is fantastic. The staff were nice and helpful.
The property is very old and the rooms need refurbishing. It is not up to normal Sofitel standards.

The property was in a great location! Very walkable to center of the city, shopping, restaurants, etc. We ate in restaurant one night for our anniversary. The view is absolutely incredible and the service is impeccable. We also love to hang out in the lounge. Singers were fantastic and the view and vibe were very relaxed.
The property is on the older side. The carpeting should be ripped out and replaced with wood flooring. I believe they’re due for a renovation, but we did enjoy our stay.

The room was well designed and practical as well as spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable. Toiliteries in the room were nice, high luxury brands and the fact that everything considered before your arrival was nice.

Nobody explained is the amenities of the hotel. The website says dog allowed and usually pet accessories shall be brought. It was not the case. Then staff at the reception told us that the dog shall stay with owner at any time. At the same time Sofitels do not allow dogs in dining areas. Plus, this is not in the hotel policies. Very weird.
When leaving the hotel, the check out at 6.45am took us 35minutes. We were alone. The receptionist kept forgetting everything and the valet parking person brought us wrong cars. The excuse was that our car was in the back (?).
