Located a 5-minute walk from the Presqu’île and a 10-minute walk from Place des Terreaux and Opéra de Lyon, OKKO Hotels Lyon Center offers air-conditioned accommodations with free Wifi throughout. The property is right in front of the Rhône River banks, where guests can find several bars and restaurants. Lyon’s Museum of Fine Arts is 12 minutes away on foot. Very clean and in a great location. Loved the Le Club facilities. Great renovation of old property. The rooms are small but compact, with everything you need. Comfortable bed and pillows, loved the linen bedlinen, and the water filters available on every floor.
No complaints….except we didn’t have coffee capsules replaced for our final morning.

The staff were very friendly. The Aperitivo (little plates of appetisers, such as cheese one night, cured beef on amother) was much appreciated and coincided with happy hour. The water dispenser on each floor was good too.
The toilet and shower layout was weired. I had read about this and was warned about the layout by the lady at the desk. The shower was fine, but water would leak into the bathroom every time the shower was used.

The room was lovely and quiet with a great big window. The staff were lovely and we loved the free coffee and snack station. The hotel is also in a lovely location next to the river, about 15 minute walk from the centre of the old town (the walk is through the main shopping streets of the city too). It is a nice quiet location with easy access to the main attractions in the city!
The "wet bathroom" was a bit of a problem. Usually it wouldn't bother us but some drainage would be useful. It wasn't very pleasant having to step in a big cold puddle every time you wanted to go to the bathroom. If this was fixed, the hotel would be 10/10!

- Located on the river bank, 25 min walk from the train station, and within walking distance to the old city (depending on how much you like walking). - Room was clean and comfortable. - Hotel offers generous check-in/out time. - Our stay had breakfast included. It was much better than "European average variety": station with a few cheeses, smoked salmon, ham, vegetables for salad, boxed and home-made yogurt, boiled and scrambled eggs, bacon, pastry and fruits. If you don't have breakfast included, you can pay EUR 20 p/p per night; if you have to eat heavy in the morning, it might be worth it. - Hotel offers 24/7 still and carbonated water as well as coffee (and specialty coffee) and organic tea, along with some light snacks (depending on the time of the day). There is also a nice lounge zone to chill or work. Also, there is a gym - although we didn't go there. - We had to change our room after 1 night (personal reasons) and hotel was able to accommodate.
- Hotel had the AC, however it was unable to deal with the summer heat they had when we visited in June. - The rooms do not have mini-fridge for "ecological" purpose. I get that, but being unable to store anything overnight was not great for us. - The shower space was good, but I found the toilet area a bit narrow; it will definitely not be comfortable for a bigger person. Also, the bathroom is just a partition from the room, so there is no noise reducing capacity (in case you may be uncomfortable using toilet with your significant other in the room. - The rooms don't have iron. However, the hotel allegedly offers an ironing room where you can go and do it yourself for free.
