The hotel looks great. we had dinner there and the buffet had a wide selection of foods.
The rooms have no opening windows, which you would expect near to an airport, however you would also expect to have control over the room temperature, this did not seem to work. Our Rooms on arrival were 22 degrees C, soon rising to 23 even though we set the control unit in our room to 19. this was reported to the reception before going for dinner, stating that we would not be able to sleep in the rooms at that temperature (we had 4 rooms, 3 of which had this problem, all on the same floor). We then went for dinner and heard nothing more from reception. We went back to our rooms and the temperature had dropped slightly, so i assumed that they had fixed the issue, however I now think this was due to the sun going down and that we had drawn the curtains earlier.
Again i set the temperature to 19 degrees C. Overnight we just got hotter and hotter, eventually reaching back to 23 degrees. We had an early morning flight, and had young children so there was not way we were moving rooms in the middle of the night.
I mentioned this to the reception staff in the morning, who said the air-conditioning had been checked in the evening and was all working as expected. They obviously did not actually go in our rooms and turn it on and wait for it to reach a low temperature. They refused to apply a discount because we had booked through booking.com. All 3 rooms with the issue did not sleep at all.
I have been in touch with the management since, explaining all this and the best they could do is offer a good rate on our next stay. I have said this is not acceptable but they will not refund anything for our stay.
I understand that things can go wrong, however it is how a hotel deals with this that really shows how good a hotel it is. Sadly this hotel has not acted appropriately, even when given the chance.

Property was right next to the airport and only 15 minutes in a taxi to the Groupama Stadium. The staff were polite and helpful and the hotel room was very nice

The Air Conditioning wasn’t working, my room was really warm. I was told it was a known problem and there was nothing that could be done. I was told to open a window, not ideal for an airport hotel!
Mentioned at check out, no sympathy whatsoever, let alone a gesture!
The cleaning regime was average at best.
Really, really expensive snacks and drinks in the room. €6 for a small packet of crisps.
Transport into Lyon was a nightmare. 2 buses and a train!
