Poor
Good location
We were on the ground floor apartment which had broken bathroom exhaust fans and other electronics (several broken light switches) which means when the staff from the kitchen across the courtyard had smoke breaks, the apartment filled with smoke.
The towels smelled damp and of mildew, as did the washing machine which didn’t come with any supplies (so each guest has to purchase laundry detergent). Similarly the clothes hanger doesn’t fit in the bathroom so your living area becomes the hanging area.
The bed had no top sheet, and the floors were unmopped so left residue on your feet — meaning you had to put on socks or shoes so your feet didn’t get dirty after the bath.

Pleasant
Great neighborhood and relatively close to main attractions. Good communication with the host.
I was really taken aback by the misleading title of this place. For some unknown reason, these people decided to name their rented apartment a Hotel. It is not even close to a hotel. There is no daily cleaning, towel change or even daily coffee replenishment. What they call "daily service" is just a lady named Candy walking in and taking the trash out of the apartment. We stayed for four nights only and had to buy our own coffee and laundry detergent. The owner was very polite and said that we should feel free to ask him for anything we might need. Well, we did and it made no difference. As far as the place itself goes, it was a large, very outdated and awkwardly built apartment with two low sealing bathrooms that only kids can fit in. We had to squat when taking showers. I am not joking or being impolite. The towels were so stinky that we had to wash them ourselves. The owner did give us another set of towels, but they stunk just as much. The problem might be that they dry everything inside since there is no dryer. There was no AC in such a big apartment. The beds were not comfortable at all. The furniture is all outdated and nothing like in the pictures. I attached one picture just to back my argument. It is not a good business practice to mislead people into believing this is a hotel with luxury amenities. Not worth it. I thought their larger loft apartment would be better then the bad stories people were writing about their smaller studio.

Wonderful
I with my friends recently stayed at Maison Hotel Lyon and had a lovely experience overall.
The facilities were very good, and the staff truly stood out — they were exceptionally helpful and attentive throughout my stay, which made a real difference.
The location is also excellent, well-positioned for getting around and exploring the city.
My only suggestion would be around climate comfort: the rooms don't have air conditioning, and ventilation felt a little limited, which was noticeable at times. A bit more airflow would make the rooms even more comfortable, especially in warmer weather.
That said, the warmth and professionalism of the team left a strong impression, and I'd happily return.
Highly recommended.

Very Poor
The location is reasonably good. There was clearly some thought put into the decor. The entry and exit procedures were relatively smooth.
There are huge issues with this space that make it difficult to live in during the summer, or even in June like when we visited. There's mesh on the little window in the bathroom, but not in the main rooms for some strange reason, so you get eaten alive by mosquitos if you have the windows open. But if you keep the windows closed, the place is suffocating and stuffy with the smell of mold/mildew all over. My wife was absolutely miserable here; we stayed in a half dozen different accommodations across Europe on this trip, and this was by far the worst. Tried to figure things out with the management, and their only response was "if you come back in the future and give us even more money, we'll upgrade you to an apartment that isn't awful like this one!". Which, considering the upscale market the place is aimed at, is totally inadequate. Would not stay again, would not trust these people. Don't make the mistake we made.

Exceptional
Delightful apartment situated close to the heart of Lyon. Admission was smooth and Julie was very supportive with help and local information throughout our stay. Communication was in English and clear, as my use of French is not the best! We would stay again if returning to Lyon
Very little. There was a noisy dog in a neighbouring apartment one day only. There is a small terrace but quite overlooked, however all these are minor points.

The location was excellent. The Foch Metro station is very close and the immediate neighbourhood is stuffed with restaurants, shopping, and parks. We took advantage of the kitchen to prepare lovely fresh food from the nearby Les Halles Paul Bocuse. Julie was knowledgeable, helpful, and so understanding about my mobility limits and about finding places our traveling poodle might enjoy. Also, the bed in the Saxe suite is regenerative. I do wish that we had more time here.
Nothing comes to mind.

The place was darling and Julie was very nice and accommodating. Offering lots of info on places to go and eat. very kind.
The place was not for anyone with issues or handicapped. The stairs up to the bedroom were very small and steep. We could not carry our luggage up to the bedroom. For younger people with no adversity’s I’m sure it wouldn’t be a problem. Not for seniors . There was no place to put anything. Cute but inconvenient.

We rented the apartment for few days in January. Very good location for exploring the old Lyon, i.e all sightseeing places were in a walking distance. Plenty of nearby restaurants and markets. Apartments are clean and have everything you need: good Wi-Fi, washing machine and dishwasher, big and clean bathroom. The host met us at the entrance, gave recommendations on the places to visit and good restaurants and helped to book taxi to the airport.

A perfect location: a short walk over the bridge to reach Hotel de Ville and surrounding attractions, excellent cafes and restaurants arounds the block, and at the same time very quiet due to inside yard facing windows. All can you wish a small apartment, perfect for 2 people. Excellent communication and quick response to questions.
The towels were smelly, but washer is there to remedy. Bought the washer detergent in the nearby Carrefour.

Fabulous location! River, park/zoo, and restaurants, cafes all close, easy walkable location. Great welcome with local recommendations.
Quirky apartment, but steep stairs to loft bedroom, not for lesser mobile persons.

The place is in the centrum, very close to anywhere you wanna go by walking or by car. Inside the apartment was clean. Everything was ready to use properly.
No sunlight coming inside, for that you may feel a bit of the smell of humidity and if you want to air the room opening the windows then you will face mosquitoes unfortunately. And lastly; the bed is too soft as if you sink into a swamp, a firm bed would be preferred to rest better. These could be details but overall the stay was ok ?

Good
The property was beautiful and in an amazing location. Extremely clean! Julie was incredibly helpful and responsive and gave us early check in and late check out.
Not many options of utensils if you want to cook in the apartment. The dishwasher and the stove stopped working randomly in our last two days of stay so we had to eat out when we wanted to eat in.
