Very close, walking distance to the train station - Gare Perrache. The next station from the main station.
A well maintained, old style hotel.

The location was good and the room was clean, the bed was confortable.
The bedroom and specially the bathroom was quite small, some water got out while showering. Not amazing but enough for us.

Convenient location, close to highway, reasonable price
Lobby was dirty. I booked mainly because of onsite parking that booking.com confirmed to me I’d have granted. Upon arrival I learned that it was full and had to find a city parking, which was inconvenient after a 10 hour drive. I don’t think it’s a 4 star hotel - no hand lotion, shower pressure very weak that it took me long to properly shower.

Fairly good location , reception staff helpful .
Breakfast was chaotic . Tables not laid properly so guests were taking cutlery from other tables . No extra cutlery to be seen so asked staff for a spoon and it took 5 minutes to bring one . Shortage of dishes and plates and items not being replenished quickly . Scrambled eggs, although tasty were cold even when replenished .

Comfortable bed, helpful reception staff, parking space.
Breakfast - we think a large group may have just been in for breakfast? When we got down to breakfast at 9am most of the plates needed refilling, for example there was only 1 crossaint, there was no obvious place to get cutlery and had to ask staff when we found one for spoons! There were hardly any dishes or plates.

Beautiful old building with some nice architectural features. More renovations are needed but what is done is fab.
Location is convenient if you are passing through and taking the train as it is next to the train station. It is also very close to the famous Brasserie Georges which is fun for dinner.
Needs more renovations.
