Hotel, room and reception was what you can expect for such an hotel, nothing to complain, everything worked and had not issues. Although the hotel is not exactly in the "old city center" it has a tram and the subway a few steps away and a lot of restaurants and backeries nearby, so for me the location was perfect.

Location is far from the parts of Lyon you would want to stay in as a tourist. The receptionist was quite rude, assuming I had cut in front of another person despite having been waiting for many minutes longer.

The comfort of the room, the location- close to a metro. It took me some time to get used to walking in a tunnel, but it was a short walk. The staff was great as well.
Maybe a fridge somewhere in a common area? But even without it was very good value.

Very nice staff, clean room with a comfortable size. Large bathroom with a nice shower. Good amount of power sockets in the room.

The hotel was fine, the family room set up worked quite well for us with teenage kids. Lyon is a fantastic city and there is lots to see and do, especially the wonderful food.
A few issues: The main one was that the parental bed was not comfortable, very hard and not at all cosy. This is fundamental obviously. Also some of the staff were not that friendly - not outright rude but not warm and welcoming either. There is also an issue with the lift which is only big enough for 3 people and seems insufficient to service the hotel. The breakfast was ok but the breakfast room was small and too full of furniture which made it a bit uncomfortable and we were barked at by a member of staff for sitting on the wrong table one morning. Lastly there is the location. On the map Perrache looks perfect, and the hotel being close to the station is a plus, but in practice the hotel is right next door to the station which is a giant eyesore that takes up almost the whole breadth of the presqu'ile peninsular, and you have to navigate around or through it to get to the nicer areas on either side. Especially in the metro/tram station it's pretty grim and seems to be used as a public toilet judging by the smell. I would not choose that location again.
