Ideal forgetting near airport a lovely 15 minute walk after been on plane if it had been raining I’d got taxi

Proximity to Lyon Airport, and the availability of the shuttle bus.
Also, although I arrived earlier than normal check-in time, I was able to go straight to my room

The location is very close to airport. As we could not eat at the Hotel we walked to a restaurant by the airport. So location is good.
The hotel needs maintenance in many areas as it looks quite rundown. Painting, carpets, up keep of airconditioning. air conditioner leaked water all over the luggage rack which had luggage on it.

We had a hire car and needed to check-in early, then return car, get back to the hotel and then get to an early morning flight the next morning. For this purpose the hotel was ideal; check-in from 2:00pm, walking distance from car hire shuttle drop-off, and hotel shuttle provided to return to airport terminal.
Access to rooms is poorly lit and utilitarean. Room was well worn and plumbing atrocious, being noisy and intermittant.
The toilet wouldn't flush for half the time.
This hotel relies on location and convenience to travellers rather than providing quality accomodation.
The shuttle was convenient but any suggestion of service from the driver completely absent, a robo-taxi would have been more personal.

I didn’t like the hotel at all. It was an emergency stop and there were no options at 8:00 pm.
The air conditioners in the whole hotel did not work. The room was tiny, electrical switches didn’t work, the carpets were filthy, the enormous wall button for the toilet fell off the wall whenever touched. The restaurant was worse than a school canteen. I would avoid the hotel but we had no choice.

Location and shuttle to the airport
The noise from other people staying at the hotel, they were outside the front of the hotel until around 11pm very loud. Being an airport hotel and people having to leave at all hours of the night to catch a flight was very inconsiderate and should have been addressed by staff.
