Staff was amazingly helpful. Front desk had really good suggestions on a nearby area to find restaurants and walk around as well as transportation to the airport. Easy to communicate in English.
This is France so while the room had AC in theory, it wasn’t fully up to dealing with the summer heat. That said, it was much better than no AC.

The location of the hotel is great, especially for short stays, it is just across the rhonexpress stop and next to the gare, so very convenient. The breakfast was also quite good and they allowed us for an early check-in which has been very helpful. The concierge recommended us a nearby quiet street with nice international restaurants and we were very pleased by that as well.

Great localization near big transportation hub (trams, railway, buses, airport communication). Quiet room (what is a great plus, as there is traffic going on near all the time), small but comfortable. Glutenfree bread and glutenfree madeleines (french speciality) available for breakfast when asked. Also allergens list available at breakfast reception (scrambled eggs had gluten, but there were also eggs for boiling).
Mattress a bit too soft (but that is subjective obviously).

The location was perfect. I was returning to Lyon by train at the end of my Rhone river cruise. It was right by the station, right near the tram to the airport the next day. Walking distance to the market where I had a wonderful seafood dinner.
