The staff is amazing. They are great at taking care of any needs you have and anticipate those you didn't know you had. Rooms are small but comfortable.

The front desk clerk was extremely helpful. It’s been a long time trying to help me book an Uber, but I was having problems with my United States phone number. He even let me use his phone number temporarily to try to book the Uber, but it just did not work. He did try though.

Not very clean. The bathroom was tiny. Two nights I wake up from a loud noise coming from the heating (2 am, 4am)

They seriously need to overhaul the bathrooms, they are the kind where the toilet, sink, and shower are all in the same little area, and it makes for a very wet time

Excellent location — very close to the Lyon Perrache railway station, just in the front of the brasserie Georges. The reception is open till 12 AM, that's convenient for those who arrive late. There is a baggage room, where you can store your suitcase after checkout.

Good location to hit off exploring Lyon, room was typical French, small. The bathroom could also have done with being a little larger. As was travelling on my own room size was okay. Front of desk staff were always very helpful.

Close to transit, restaurants and stores.
The heat in the building was not turned on. The first night was really cold and I had trouble sleeping. We got an extra blanket for the second night which helped keep us warm. The bathroom was really small.

The staff at Victoria were excellent and extremely helpful. I had a problem figuring out how to meet up with friends in a village one hour's drive north of Lyon. A car was unfeasible and the train the only way to go. They looked at the routes for me and we chose the most direct one for someone with luggage. I could not have done this without them. The hotel is brilliantly located for access to the square nearby with lots of restaurants and cafes. One of the main railway stations is also just up the road.
I didn't know this before my trip so this one is probably on me. However, it seems some Lyon hotels regard electric fans as air-conditioning. This was initially a concern but fine once I'd made it work for the room.

Perfectly located hotel. Few minutes walk to the Perrache train & bus station. From there lovely walk to the Bellecour place shopping and restaurants. Nice and varied breakfast. Reception team is very friendly and accommodating. Charming interior and design elements with the train station inspiration. Thank you for storing my luggage while I was walking The Chemin.
Note to management: please add the Air Conditioning!

Price performance vice okay-ish. The room was clean, and it had a massive double bed.
The bathroom is ridiculously small. Okay, French is famous with fat-shaming and tend to be slim people but one can not sit on the toilet without head touching the door. The building should be checked, though, it looks like as if it's about to collapse
