Close to everything we needed
Street was very noisy at night and with the high temperatures outside, windows had to be kept open. A fan would have been nice to have.

Really good location. My room was small but reasonably priced. Perfect for one person to sleep. Small, utilitarian, comfortable enough. Quiet.

Great location and staff, beautiful rooms, comfortable beds
We knew it was going to be hot so had specifically picked a hotel with air conditioning but it was not working in our room and we didn’t realize until we got back from dinner at 10:30pm. We were on the 5th floor so it was hotter in our room than outside, which had hit 99F that day. The only staff was a night porter who could only offer a move to a different hotel but we were leaving the next day so it wasn’t worth the hassle. We ended up staying in the lobby for a few hours while it cooled down outside and then sleeping very fitfully for a few hours. We left Lyon a few hours early since we were too tired to do much. I know they couldn’t have predicted that but it’s difficult to be in that situation without options.

Wonderful
The staff and hotel manager were incredibly nice and helpful. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable.
The location of this hotel is the best part! You are close to everything, shops, restaurants, attractions.
I loved Lyon and if I come back, I will definitely stay here again!
My only comment is that you could hear what went on in the hallway from your room, but it did not bother me too much.

Location was good, a few min walk to metro and bus station, museum, many restaurants, stores nearby. AC is a must have in August. I think this hotel is lovely

Location was amazing near all the historical attractions. Room was clean and spacious. Staff were very kind and helpful.
Elevator was small and slow and not great for families with a lot of luggage.

We don’t normally eat breakfast but Did appreciate and enjoy the complimentary hot chocolate when returning back to the hotel in the evening. We loved the homy vibe and the staff there was super nice, helpful and friendly.

Super convenient location. Everything is within walking distance.
The room is quite spacious, and the sound insulation is really good - we barely heard anything from other rooms or the street.
There was a problem with the heating system. The heating was somehow on while it was very warm outside on a spring day. The room was heated to a very high temperature and the first night we almost could not sleep. The second day we reported the issue to the front desk and the staff said they would turn down/off the heating, but it did not seem to take effect in the next hours. We had to come down to report it again as it got unbearably hot, and this time the staff helped change the room for us. We were re-assigned a much smaller room, but at least the temperature was normal there.
Nonetheless, we appreciate that the staff's prompt response to the issue and their gesture to potentially compensate for this inconvenience.
