Broken glass left on trolley in front of breakfast room at night. Also eggs?
Location was out of the way and not that attractive

Nice location, easy street parking, beautiful garden, bathroom with two (facing) showers in the Premium Triple room, toiletries from Rituals. Large balcony with garden view.
Small room with little space around the beds, no fridge.

The breakfast was delicious- lots of options and high quality! The location is somewhat limiting if you want to get into the fun busy parts of the city, but we walked into town to the main food market, refuelled on oysters and Macon Ville and then did the final 15 minutes. And we got a 15 min taxi back which was so easy. And in fact we were pleased to be out of the hustle and bustle!
Breakfast was quite busy with lots of things everywhere and not much room to put things down! But it was completely manageable.

The hotel is in a quite very good located (far from the centre, but very close to bus and tram stop). The hotel staff was very friendly, the hotel itself was very lovely. We loved the breakfast and decided to pay for it for a couple of days, value for money was great, it was delicious and much food to choose from. They had a beautiful garden that we loved as well.
Although the room was very clean in the first day, next days the cleaning was a bit low. Oddly enough, the pillows smell very bad, like a damp cloth to be precise. The floor wasn't cleaned after first day leaving for instance, and the water bottle wasn't refilled. It was as the first day used (drank a bit by us).
Other than that it was a lovely stay at the hotel.

Very friendly hotel, great staff. Cool rooms in the heat! Had everything we needed ( maybe missing coffee cups in the room!) but everything else was great.
Bit of a distance to the old town on public transport but that was fine.

Breakfast was good and we appreciated that they listed the origins of the produce. Friendly and helpful staff. There were some nice non-tourist restaurants within walking distance.
The location is not good if you are coming to sightsee in Lyon. It is good because it is near the train station (Lyon-Part Dieu), but it's a long way from the city centre. Whenever we ordered cars they would continually cancel, and it took a long time to get one to drive us into Lyon. Then we would spend a long time sitting in traffic.
