Wonderful
Breakfast was typical French, coffee and croissants. The location was good, either metro or city bus from the train station and a short walk. The hotel was close to shopping and restaurants. Being in the city center made it easy to see museums and other attractions.
The shower pretty small , but again typical for the older city hotels.

Access VERY DIFFICULT. Stairs narrow and windy. No lift to ground floor reception or basement breakfast room. Impossible for anyone even slightly immobile. Breakfast very poor. Stale bread and croissants. No choice. Very poor compared with other similar hotels.

1. Please change the keys, it's awkward every time you need to go out to ask for the key. Just make smart keys like in every modern hotel 2. Why giving such a low amount of soap and shower gel? Everytime I need to ask for more and it's impossible to take a good shower. Why not putting bottles in the room and not this tiny bags? Charge 3 euros more per night and cover the Cost. 3 . The building is not accessible, you need to go up 1.5 floors with your luggage to get to the tiny elevator

It was reasonably priced for its location and easy to find. Great location for public transport.
It was a bit close to the main square and being a weekend was very busy. I would prefer something a bit out of the way.

The shower gave out hot water quite quickly. As I was on the top floor, that was a pleasant surprise. The staff were friendly.
The elevator only served the middle five floors, meaning that I had to carry my suitcase up from reception to the first floor and from the fifth floor to the sixth floor.

It was a classic small French hotel: located in the heart of a thriving district, distinctive, charming, intimate, with an optional breakfast at a reasonable price and a friendly, accommodating staff. There are amazing spots nearby, including public squares and the gorgeous theatre.
