The hotel has a superb location.
Even though the room is rather spacious and the bathroom also quite clean, there are a few things that made me less enthousiastic. The room was not super clean (besides the bathroom) seeing that I could easily spot the dust and even goods from a previous guest under the bed. It can get quite noisy outside and inside (very thin walls) of the building. The pillows are not good, the mattress is ok. Breakfast was very, very simple.

Great location, very friendly staff, the room was basic but clean.
The room's furniture was basic yet sufficient. The breakfast provided a boost of carbs, caffeine and sugar (no cheese, meats or fruits) to set us up for the day. The one thing that tarnished our experience was the value we got for our money. We would have been content if the stay hadn't cost us 170 euro/ night (for 2). If you want to stay at this hotel, try getting a better deal.

Location is incredible, opposite a beautiful theatre and with everything on your doorstep. The staff were friendly. The room was a decent size.
Rooms were very dated, poorly furnished and quite dirty. The plastic flooring was ridiculously squeaky and access to the reception & bedrooms was difficult - 3 flights of steep stairs, unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues, lots of luggage or small children.

This was a wonderful, simple and easy hotel, get a room with a charming and bright room overlooking the Place des Celestines with the beautiful Theatre of Lyons. Great location. Highly reccomend.

The apartment was even better than the pictures. Cleanliness was okay—not perfect, but fine by French standards. The location was excellent; right after stepping out, you’re in Place des Jacobins or Place du Théâtre. Overall, a good stay.

It was a great location in Lyon with easy access to transport and the main things to see. I was received a room upgrade which was nice so I could see the view of the theatre.
The bathroom was dirty when I arrived- the screen had not been cleaned and the shower head had other people's hair stuck in it. The room is very ugly and there are no amenities that you'd expect in a hotel such as a mini fridge or a kettle.
