Disappointing
location
The breakfast was meager: a few slices of cheese and stale, hard bread with gnats crawling on it. Some receptionists wouldn't turn on the water for boiling eggs—specifically the male receptionist—so I had to wait 15 minutes for the water to boil. The room didn't cool down. I do not recommend this hotel.!!!

Perfect location, just a minute walk to the metro station. Quite, peaceful and lively (nice contradiction) area, just next to a beautiful huge square full with plane trees, with some nice cafe/bars. Walkable distance to major Lyon sites. The staff was very helpful, always with a smile on their faces. Room space was sufficient.
The only thing I could easily do without were the carpets on the floors, but, that's maybe just me :-)

As a short stay place it was close to most things we wanted to do in Lyon. We could have spent more money on a more up market hotel, but it suited what we wanted.
