Very unique hotel in a marvelous location. Staff was very helpful with booking a car from the airport and suggesting wonderful restaurants.
Room was quite small but not unexpected in Europe.

We thoroughly enjoyed this hotel experience - so much so that it contributed greatly to our overall wonderful impressions of Lyon. Critical to the experience were the warm and helpfulness of the staff, but especially of the owner who greeted us at breakfast and made time to chat with us despite the demands of a busy hotel. Our previous experiences with hotels in France have been mixed, so this was a very pleasant and welcome experience. We are already planning our return to this special gem of a hotel with a real family-feel to it.
Really, nothing went wrong or was unpleasant.

Very centrally located. Easy access to shopping, transportation, restaurants and various sights.
There was nothing that I didn’t particularly like. The property is an older property/historic building but the rooms are functional and modern. The only general gathering area is the reception/ breakfast area; however as mentioned it’s an older building that using the space very functionally.

Great location, near main square and river, easy access to the old town and Metro.
Lots of (mostly pricey) shops nearby.
Good breakfast, extra charge.
Door from elevator to hallway needs key.
Shower splashes water onto the floor.

I loved how cozy the hotel was - it seemed like an old hotel but the interiors were renovated and super confortable. The highlights: the buffet breakfast and the pillows.
