We had a very pleasant stay at Hôtel Chromatics & Restaurant Hill Club. The hotel offers excellent value for money, with clean and comfortable rooms, a great breakfast, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. A special thank you to Jasmin, who made our check-out smooth and stress-free with her kindness and professionalism. We truly enjoyed our stay and would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lyon.

That's a really nice hotel. Outside space, restaurant, air conditioning system working fine , a very good and diversified breakfast, decent distance to old Lyon.
Noting about hotel. Only that I discovered I do not find Lyon as a good touristic location... but that's not this hotel's fault...

We loved Lyon and would recommend Chomatics. Breakfast, for the price, was exceptional. No cooked to order omelets but cheese, ham, bacon to go with them and a large selection of bread and pastries including pancakes. We rode the train to the Perrache station and it was 1 km to get to the hotel. You have to go downstairs on the north side of the station and go through a tunnel - there are 2. The location feels safe to walk but almost all the sights are north of the train station as well as the closest subway stop. Our room quiet, clean and comfortable but a bit small and showed some signs of ware. The front desk was super friendly and helpful. It was fun to rent VeloV bikes for 2 euros and ride the around the peninsula and through the tunnel.
Walkable, but a little bit out of the main sightseeing area.

The spacious room
Lack of ramp from street to front door and front door to check-in desk. Very hard to go up steep stairs with luggages.

Decently priced hotel not far from Perrache station and even closer to two tram stops on Tram lines 1 and 2 for links to the city. Comfertable bed and small bathroom were perfect for having a hotel just to sleep in.

Helpful staff, nice breakfast, good overall situation. Nice neighborhood, quite, but not far from main transport lines. Close to the river for a nice walk.

Only stuff.
This was my worst hotel experience. The room we booked as “Comfort” was very small, old, with peeling paint in the bathroom and outdated furniture. The bed linen was clean but synthetic. The breakfast was extremely limited, with food scattered around the room, making it hard to find, and there was very little variety. The worst part was the cutlery (forks, spoons, knives, plates, glasses), which was dirty or poorly washed. The only positive was the friendly and polite staff. Everything else was very disappointing.

Wonderful
We loved the modern, cheerful feel of this hotel! Everything was spotless clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. It’s in a nice area, even if it’s not right in the heart of the city. The breakfast selection wasn't huge, but everything was delicious
