Room very small, double bed 140*190 cm, bathroom door not closing, mold in bathroom, old carpet feeling dirty, impossible to regulate the heating
Chlorine smell in breakfast room due to the pool being litterally right by it and open to that room

We had a top box on the car, and this made parking a nightmare took ages to find a parking space we could fit in.

We enjoyed our stay in the Grand Hotel. The hotel is located in the middle of the action and the staff is welcoming, helpful and personable. When you stay here, be sure to take advantage of the unique swimming pool.

We stayed at Grand Hôtel des Terreaux for several nights and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience.
Starting from the second day, I began to feel itchy and noticed several bites on my skin that strongly suggested a possible bed bug issue. By the third day, my child also developed similar bite marks. We both slept on the smaller bed next to the wall, and that’s where the problem seemed to come from.
In total, I had more than ten bites, and my child had about five or six. This was very distressing. To be safe and avoid bringing anything back home, we had to discard our suitcase and a full box of clothes.
I hope the hotel takes this seriously and thoroughly inspects the room. It was an unpleasant and stressful experience that I wouldn’t want other guests to go through.

The staff were always very friendly and helpful and the hotel had a very smart, chilled art deco vibe. The highlight was the lovely, simple 'express breakfast' delivered to the room every morning.
The 'relaxation pools' had real character and charm, but were maybe a little impractical and could have ideally been a little warmer.

* it was quite quirky…in a good way
* would have liked facilities to make a drink in room although we knew about this when we booked
* the bed was positioned very close to the door of ensuite bathroom- would be easy to reposition bed to reduce this inconvenience
