Excellent location . Very clean and wonderful breakfast
We reported a problem with the toilet flushing before leaving for dinner. Upon arriving we were told it was seen to by a staff member but were unable to fix it so we were offered a free drink at the bar, but left us to deal with our toilet

The pool was beautiful and a wonderful escape mid afternoon. The location was great and the bar next door Hansel and Gretel was wonderful.
The comforter on the bed needs an upgrade. Felt old school like it is reused night after night.

Staff was very pleasant and helpful.
Rooms were clean and comfortable.
Handicap bench was in the bathroom for the tub without asking. That was important to us.
Steps in and out of the elevator were inconvenient for my handicap wife, but there is nothing you can do about that.
There were two of us in the room, but only one bath towel. We would’ve asked for more, but we were only there for two days.

Location was perfect and the hotel room was clean.
Breakfast could have been better, maybe a bit larger selection of different items. The elevator was really, really slow and the hotel had only one of them. There should be more bottle water available.

From the start to finish the staff were cold and not welcoming! Even when we had to ask nicely to change our room because the damp smell was to strong (room 211) , we barely had a little apology, or a commercial gesture. The way they dealt with the problem was appalling! Not talking about the « SPA » a swimming pool next to the dinning table, the temperature of it wasn’t warm at all!!! Which meant our experience of this kind of none existent.
To finish the noice in the hotel from machineries or pipe work were shaking the floor

The location of this hotel can’t be beat. Almost everything we did in Lyon was walkable and there are tons of shops and restaurants nearby. The rooms were spacious which was helpful to have.
The room was a bit surprising in how damp it was. There was a noticeable smell that wasn’t awful but made me uncomfortable. I was trying to balance the fact that it’s simply an old building but I felt it was very strange. It was particularly bad in the bathroom and there was a machine in the room to help the air but it could not be run while people were in it (again strange to me). For the price of this hotel I really expected more.

That was not up to my expectations . Poor selection of fruit. Cheese very basic. No variety. Cold eggs. Fruit salad, fresh orange juice and choice of cakes would be preferable.

Only the location in the heart of the city centre was a good thing
Rooms were the tiniest ever seen considering it’s a 4 star and the price we paid for the stay. Facilities are old and you can hear literally everything from the neighbour rooms - the first night we had a very silent couple staying next door but we could hear even when they were whispering, the second night we had a couple who did very bad noise all night long and it was like having them in our room, a nightmare. We couldn’t sleep at all and despite calling reception and flagging the issue nothing was done.
